1. Learning to awake your willpower
We begin with this important faculty, for this simple reason: nothing or almost nothing can be done without will-power. It is possible and necessary to cultivate it. The body and mind tend to follow the path of ease. But this path is sometimes paved with laziness. Followers of the least effort walk on that path; they seem happy to walk there. By the way, during child or adult education, some reflexes and habits are built on laziness. This lack of willpower can and must be re-educated, by anyone who wants to succeed and be happy. Laziness is natural and cultural. By its tendency to offer many things “already cooked”: “ready to think”, society nurtures laziness... and lazy people. However, we will be more understanding towards laziness due to physical or psychological illness. But even in those cases it is possible to intensify will-power, it is possible to overcome laziness and win. No willpower? Before going further, or closer, let’s say that the lack of will-power must be seen as a whole. Like any lack. In this site, we will continue to repeat this: "A problem is often linked to one or more other problems." That is why when searching for a solution to a problem, it is wise to consider several factors. Let’s illustrate our point. This robust willpower has pushed them to accomplish great things. The engine of their will-power has often been the interest, enthusiasm and love that these creatures have had for their occupation… their passion. But sometimes, they have needed to push themselves in order to accomplish a project. One way or another, these titans of willpower are able to deploy willingness above the common measure. That's why they achieve amazing things, good or bad. To willpower How to intensify your willpower practically? It's simple. Simple as pie. Firstly, it is necessary to be willing to intensify the will-power; this is not a play of word or a flash of wit; wanting to want is the beginning. We have said that this step is simple, because the fact that you are reading us so far justifies our words. Will-power and motivation are almost synonymous. You already have the willpower to want. In fact you are aware that you want; that you feel the need to intensify your will-power; the need to increase your level of willpower in order to win other victories. It is a lot! This awareness is to be congratulated. Hey willpower Let us move to the next step. If you already have an interest, enthusiasm and love for what you want to accomplish, will-power will follow. But if you have to perform a difficult task, repulsive and disheartening, then you'll need to trigger a strong willpower; to intensify it and maintain it. To do this, you have to use the power of thought, the power of imagination. In all simplicity, let’s take the approach suggested in the section: Increase your strengths through science of breathing. Relax all the muscles of your body, calm your mind and focus on what you do; and remember: the mind and health are connected; your mind and your health are linked. If you suffer from lung disease, talk to your health care professional before starting your exercises. In cases of pulmonary tuberculosis and epilepsy avoid this breathing exercise. If you feel a slight discomfort: dizziness, vertigo, or a rapid heartbeat; stop for a moment, then resume your breathing exercise. 1) The exercise of deep breathing begins with a forced exhalation. 2) Then, inhale by pushing your abdomen to the front; then push your chest to the front. These two steps are done slowly. 3) Then exhale; first empty the air of your abdomen, then empty the air your chest. These two steps are done slowly. 4) Between the inhalation and exhalation, pause for three seconds. 5) After that pause, a respiratory round is completed. Start another respiratory round. If you breathe in this way, you will establish the "alpha" rhythm (8 to 12 cycles per second). It means that your body, soul, mental and emotions are relaxed. Breathe primarily by the nose. The nose has the property to purify and humidify the air. The air that passes through the nose will be at the right temperature.
Complete several respiratory cycles. Relax, while breathing. When you breathe, feel that you are filled with peace and deep joy. In so doing, repeat these sentences or others of your choice: • "My will-power increases greatly. I will complete this task easily." And: • "My willpower is intensifying. I will finish this project very easily." And: • "I have an iron will-power. I achieve all what I plan." And also: • "I have an inflexible willpower. I am determined to succeed..." • Etc. Obviously you will find sentences that fit with your need. The only limit is your imagination. At each pose, breathe slowly and deeply, focus on what you do and say. While fortifying your will-power, feel deep inside yourself that you got what you want. Feel it with joy and immense pleasure; and at the same time, imagine that you get what you want and rejoice at the outcome. In your rejoicing, view all the benefits that a greater will-power will bring you. Visualize these benefits in color. If possible, pronounce your sentences or words, they will enter your subconscious deeper. Pronounce them with a great desire.
You must desire this will-power as you desire to breathe when you stay too long under the water; you must desire this virtue as a fish desires to return to water… By doing so, you will fortify your will-power. You will acquire a strong will-power that will surprise you. You remember this approach that we called: Breathing exercise coupled with mental exercise. We have achieved many positive results. You will too. From time to time, try to accomplish a difficult task, a task that until then was depleting your will. This test against your own will-power will tell you where you stand. Gradually, the physical aspect (breathing) and the mental aspect (pronounced desires) will be linked and well coupled. Linked in the extend that: these breathing movements, alone, will release your pronounced desires into your subconsciousness (unconsciousness). The virtues contained in these sentences will strengthen each others, and you will enjoy their beneficial effects. In the same way, when you will think of those sentences, even if you are not exercising, your willpower will increase; your desire to succeed will increase. Your breathing cycle will be wider and more regular; and this will harmonize your body, soul, mind, emotions and sentiments. It is advisable to exercise before you sleep and just when you wake up. Because those are the best time when your subconscious (unconscious) is open to messages (auto-suggestions). But you can also practice them from time to time during the day. After a few days of practice, these exercises will become a reflex; your second nature. You will no longer need to think to practice them. Then the lack of will-power will disappear.
