Understand religion (spirituality) and benefit from it
We strongly advise you to read the three following introductions before exploring our colored topics: Health Sexuality, Money, Human relations.

What is religion? Here is a definition: * The belief of a superhuman controlling power, esp. in a personal God or gods entitled to obedience and worship * The expression of this worship * A particular system of faith and worship * Life under a monastic vow * A thing that someone is devoted to We do not intend to provide you with a complete list of religions, it will take forever... Some specialists have identified five major world religions; we have identified seven.
Later one, we will show you how to benefit from this topic: religions and spiritualities. We do not have intention to suggest any belief. We just display important religion facts. If you read and apply these useful knowledge, you will benefit from it; no matter if you believe or not. And that knowledge will lead you to success and happiness. There are many types of religions; many differences between them. Before we start, here is a short list of world religions; the reality is probably more complex. To list all of them in not our goal. Our intention is just to give you the scope of… 1) Judaism 2) Christianity 3) Islam 4) Hinduism 5) Buddhism 6) Shintoism 7) Confucianism * Cabbala religion (kabbalah ,occult) * Egyptian religion (ancient Egyptian religion) * Jehovah witness * Protestant (Baptism, Adventism, Lutheranism, etc.) * Taoism * Rastafarian (rastafari religion) * Santeria (vaudou, religion in Cuba) * Aboriginal religion (Sioux, native American, American Indian) * voodoo * wicca (wiccan) * Etc. But don’t worry, we will just develop the first 7 ones. :) One world religion… Is it for tomorrow? Which one is right? You be the judge… The homo-religious is the most exciting specie, in our opinion. Before going any further... closer, let’s say that our goal is not to judge or promote a belief. In addressing this spiritual section, we want to show how a good knowledge of beliefs can open doors to success and happiness; because the etymology of the word religion comes from the Latin "religare" which means "related" and / or "religio" which means "obligation, bond" The religious being is related to its fellow creatures, with all the positive or negative consequences that this entails. That is why we have added this significant part in the section: Human-relations Religion debates is sensitive (religions in public schools, science versus religion, etc.). But during our observations, readings and personal experiences (physical and spiritual experiences), we realized that a good knowledge of beliefs is an asset in interpersonal relations; it can help succeed and enjoy happiness. Anthropology of religion knows that some people do not like to compare beliefs; because they assume that their beliefs is the best. Or maybe because they are anti-religion. But this comparison is a good exercise, because it helps understand many thing. Comparing beliefs will help you understand your friends, wife, children, colleagues, etc. There is religion in politics and vice-versa. Religion is linked in almost everything, including: Money. That is why it is important to understand them. Our Institute knows this: most people behave according to their belief; so to understand them will help you better understand them. This approach may make your life easier; you may even benefit from your understanding of their cults and religions. This understanding may bring you more success and happiness. Knowing the belief of our fellow creature is to know a part of nature and culture of that fellow creature. It is all about knowing what motivates the thoughts, words, deeds, etc., of that fellow creature. It is all about getting into the deep universe of that fellow creature; a universe that sometimes makes no compromise; a universe where many are ready to die. I do not know a domain where people are more willing to commit and risk their body, soul and spirit than the religious domain. "For life and for death." Let’s be clear: many wars that humanity has known, and still known, are caused by religious conflicts. This patent fact should not be overlooked. The majority of conflicts are due to economic, political and/or religious issues.
We are in 2007. We want to give, as an example: the conflict between Israel and Palestine. One might also speak of this conflict as a religious conflict, a conflict between Islam and Judaism. It is a violent conflict that has lasted for the past century, and which no one sees the end of the tunnel. It seems like the end is not at hand. It is obvious that tensions such as those which persist between India and Pakistan are also religious tensions. To this end, we could talk about a tension between Hinduism and Islam. Here also, it is a violent tension which has lasted for the past century, and which no one sees the end of the tunnel. It seems like the end is not at hand. Maybe the region of cashmere that both countries want, is just a pretext which serves as a detonator. Today appeased, we know the conflict between Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland. An ugly conflict resolved by means of negotiations, but also with arms, bombs and machine guns. But in this case, we can say that the belligerents have seen the end of the tunnel, they have begun to get out of the wood. And what about the conflict that ravages the Darfur region of western Sudan. Obviously, this conflict has an economic and political component. But look closely, it is also a religious war: a war between Islam and Christianity. We are in 2007. This violent war that has lasted for the past century, and no one sees the end of the tunnel. It seems like the end is not at hand. Hundreds of thousands dead, millions displaced, thousands of women / men raped; officially... The government of Sudan has an Islamic vision of Sudan. The affected areas are inhabited by animists, Muslims, but mainly by Christians... We may multiply examples, unfortunately... But sometime, religious conflict are due to miscommunication: Download your free ebook: Learn how to write and communicate efficiently Are we saying that religions are not good? This is not the object of our conversation. But we know that some beliefs are nobler and more virtuous than others. Religions are what they are. And the perversion of religions, their use for partisan purposes (political, economic and religious partisanships), is not new. Manipulations, thefts and lies have always been part of politics, economy and religions. But those who like it that way, have nothing to lose by waiting. Simply put: "Perverse beings who pervert a noble religion, can not transform that noble religion into a perverse religion." In the same way: "Anyone who ennobles a perverse religion, can not transform that perverse religion into a noble religion." The purpose of this section is to show the importance of religion (spirituality) in regard to human relations and interpersonal relations; to show that a good knowledge of beliefs, can open the doors to success and happiness. Religions have a direct or indirect link with economy, politics, etc.; they have a direct or indirect link with your health, sexuality, financial situation, relationships, etc. A noble religion can help you connect to yourself and to your fellow creatures; and so help you better adapt. Health is the adaptation to the social environment, but is also the acceptance of the harmonious exercise of a healthy sexuality. Health is also the desire to improve a financial situation; it is the aptitude for true success and happiness. We are still in the spirit of the Institute of Human Cultivation. In order not to weigh down our conversation, we will present 7 main religions; 7 main beliefs that have crossed space and time; 7 main beliefs that should not be ignored; because they have a direct or indirect impact on Creation. These religions influence, by near or far, economic and political decisions of nations. These beliefs are practiced by almost all mankind. We are in 2007. The population of earth is evaluated at more than 6 billions inhabitants. Think of Christianity: more than 1 billion Christians. Islam: more than 1 billion Muslims. Hinduism: over 1 billion Hindus. Buddhism: more than 1 billion Buddhists. Think about it. Think about it carefully. This is not a peace of cake. Especially when you know that members of certain religious groups pray for the disappearance of other believers. By choosing these seven religions, we are not neglecting, shrinking and ignoring other beliefs. We will do our best to not judge any belief. Not because we do not have an opinion, but because we are not certain to have understood the full meaning and scope of those religions. We do not judge a belief, out of respect for those who read us; out of respect for your intelligence, your freedom of thought, your freedom of choice; because in the religious sphere, and elsewhere, the free choice remains the watchword. With all due respect, we will not say that all religions are equal in inspiration, deepness and strength. No. With all due respect, we will not say that all beliefs are equal in virtues. No. It would be a lie. We have just said: "Some religions are nobler and more virtuous than others." See: Health of the soul (Health page). See also: Sexuality Some major beliefs, as you can see, have few points in common; but other points are different, opposed, and even irreconcilable. And for whoever takes time to study them, it appears that some religions can not coexist in the long term. These facts are not points of interpretation; these facts are written black on white, in their religious book. Religions menu... Of course there are hundreds, if not thousands, of other religions (spirituality), beliefs, philosophies and so on. We can not list them all. It would take forever... knowing that their numbers are growing at high speed. Humanity in search of God... Sometimes we even feel that soon, at this rate, there will be as many beliefs as human beings; and who knows more beliefs than human beings... "Ah, human being, this researcher of absolute." We do not suggest any religion (spirituality). To those who, after having read us, will be sure to have found their way; the Way; we say: "So much the best!" But we also hasten to say: "Caution!" Because, a way is not always The Way. "All roads do not lead to Rome."
In our analysis we have deliberately excluded magic, sorcery, occultism, etc. At the Institute of Human Cultivation (IHC), in this site, we do not promote magic, witchcraft or anything else related. But we are not naive. By experience, we know that these things exist. And if you want good advice, an advice from a friend: stay away from magic, witchcraft, occultism or anything else related. Here are major world religions. They are just few facets of religion. Once you read our brief comments on these beliefs, we'll show you how to deepen your reading. Here are those seven main religions: 1) Judaism 2) Christianity 3) Islam 4) Hinduism 5) Buddhism 6) Shintoism 7) Confucianism Let's get started! 1) Judaism
Maybe the oldest religion. It is a monotheistic belief (belief in one God, Yahweh). We are in 2007, Judaists are estimated to nearly 20 millions. Judaism is explained in the part of the Bible which begins at: Genesis, and continues until: Malachi. This part of the Bible is called The First Testament (the Ancient Testament) by Christians. That sacred book is composed of 24 books grouped in three parts: the Torah (or the Law: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy), the Nebiim (or the books of the Prophets) and the Ketubim (or the Writings). Judaism has several branches: orthodox, ultra-orthodox, Hasidim, Sephardic, Ashkenaze, etc. Here is roughly what Judaism seems to say: * The First Testament contain laws, precepts and commandments that God has given to humanity, through Hebrew people, through the patriarchs, Moses, kings, the prophets, and so on. * Judaists do not recognize Jesus Christ as the Messiah announced in the First Testament, the Savior, the Son of God, who came to redeem and save mankind. That is why they do not take much account of the part of the Bible that Christians call the Second Testament (The New Testament); because the mission of Jesus Christ begins in the Second Testament. However, more and more Jews are becoming Christians. It is good to remember that many first Christians were Jews. Jesus-Christ himself is Jew. Jesus-Christ is from the tribe of Judah. Judaism religion is Israel religion in a certain extend. NB: Some people say that since the word Jew corresponds to the tribe of Judah, and the tribe of Judah is just one of the twelve tribe of Israel (Judah is one of the twelve sons of Jacob), therefore the eleven other tribes should not be called Jew. This website gives you more details on that point of view: www.TomorrowsWorld.org * Judaists say that Jesus Christ is just a prophet as others, but no the Messiah announced in the First Testament. * Judaists await the Messiah who will save, restore and realize all the promises that God has made through the patriarchs, Moses, the kings, and the prophets. But Christians say that the Messiah has already come: Jesus Christ. And to prove it, Christians read the following verses: "Be transported with joy, daughter of Zion! Shouted for joy, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king comes to you; He is just and victorious, he is humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, a small donkey." Bible (Zechariah 9: 9). Indeed; these words of the prophet Zechariah, in the First Testament, were written almost 500 years before the birth of Jesus. The name Jesus means: Savior. The name Christ means: Anointed. That prophecy was accomplished by Jesus Christ in the Second Testament: "As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away." This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: "Say to the Daughter of Zion, 'See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” The disciples went and did as Jesus had ordered." Bible (Matthew 21: 1-6). Thus, to prove that Jesus Christ is the announced Messiah, Christians cite few verses from the First Testament and find their fulfillment in the New Testament. We have done our own research, we have read them, it's amazing. Here are three other examples: 1) According to the First Testament, it was expected that Jesus Christ would be born in the Tribe of Judah, a direct descendant of King David: Isaiah 9: 5, 7. Compare with the Second Testament: Matthew 1: 2-16. 2) According to the First Testament, it was expected that Jesus Christ would be born in the city of Bethlehem: Micah 5: 1. Compare with the Second Testament: Luke 2: 1-7. 3) According to the First Testament, it was expected that Jesus Christ is delivered in exchange for 30 pieces of silver: Zechariah 11: 12. Compare with the Second Testament: Matthew 26: 15. Due to time and space limitation, we will not write all other equivalences. There are dozens of others concordances. However, to read the Bible online go to: www.CARM.org Click on: Bible online Or in French: www.TopChretien.com Click on: Top Bible. This other site can give you some indications on Judaism: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judaism NB: Before we continue, we would like to clarify that the websites cited do not belong to us. 2) Christianity Here are brief points regarding origins of Christian religion. It is a monotheistic religion (belief in one God, Yahweh). We are in 2007, Christians are estimated to nearly 1.5 billion. Christianity is explained in the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible includes the First Testament (Ancient Testament) and the Second Testament (New Testament). This means that the Bible includes all written from Genesis to Revelation (Apocalypse). Christians recognize Jesus Christ as the Messiah, the Savior, the Son of God, who came from God to redeem and save mankind. To summarize, Christianity believes that: * Under the influence of a fallen angel (Satan the devil, the serpent of Genesis), mankind has fallen and sinned: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Bible (Romans 3:23) * This is why diseases, pain, old age and death reign in the world: "That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all have sinned." Bible (Romans 5: 12) * In His voluntary death on the cross and His resurrection, Jesus Christ has conquered Satan the devil, death, and redeemed humanity: "The Father loves me, because I give my life, in order that I may receive it again. Nobody has taken it away from me, but I give it of my own initiative. I have authority to give it, and I authority to receive it again. This is the commandment I received from my Father." Bible (John 10: 17-18) * God promises eternal life in heaven to those who have faith in His Son Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." Bible (John 3: 16) “He that believes and is baptized will be saved, but he that doest not believes will be condemned. Bible (Mark 16: 16). * Jesus Christ returns soon to resurrect and take those who believe in Him. Christians cites this verse spoken by Jesus Christ: "There are many mansions in my Father's house, otherwise I would have told you, because I am going to prepare a place for you. And when I will go and prepare a place for you, I will return again and take you home with me, so that where I am you also may be." Bible (John 14: 2-3). Jesus Christ will establish the kingdom of God on this earth, for 1000 years; Jesus Christ will judge mankind; then will come the reign of God for eternity: "Behold! The tent of God is with mankind. He will reside with them, they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes and death will no longer be; neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The old things are gone." Bible (Revelation 21: 3-4). * And it is the apostle Paul who says: «Because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first. Afterward we the living who are surviving will, together with them, be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we shall always be with the Lord.» Bible (1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17) It is the second Parousia; the second coming of Jesus Christ. We are not sure that we have understood everything clearly. But we believe we have seized the essential. Actually, you can do your own research. And why not, tell us a little bit about your researches. To read the Bible online, go to: www.CARM.org Or in French: www.TopChretien.com Of course, as in Judaism, there are many branches of Christianity: Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant (Lutheran, Calvinist, Evangelical, Adventist, Pentecostal, Baptist, Methodist, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Quaker, Anglican, Presbyterian, salvation army, etc. All these ramifications have The Holy Bible as sacred book. It contain the history of Muslim religion. Islam is a monotheistic religion (belief in one God, Allah). We are in 2007, Muslims are estimated to nearly 1.2 billion. It is interesting to note that Jews and Arabs are descendants of Abraham: Jews by Isaac, son of Abraham and Sarah (the legitimate wife); the Arab by Ishmael, son of Abraham and Hagar (the servant). Islam is explained in the Koran. Here too, there are many branches of Islam (orthodox, ultra-orthodox, Sunni (Iraq), Shia (Iran), etc. The Islamic religion has come to humanity by Mohamed, 620 years after the birth of Jesus Christ. Muslims see Jesus Christ as just another prophet. Here is an overview of Islamism: * Islam says that Mohamed is the last prophet sent by God to help humanity. * Muslims respect the Holy Bible, the patriarchs, Moses and the prophets. They believe in miracles made by Jesus Christ. * Islam calls humanity to live a pious life, in peace, and love with for the fellow creature. The Koran contains edifying words: “It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards the East and the West, but righteousness is this that one should believe in Allah and the last day and the angels and the Book and the prophets, and give away wealth out of love for Him to the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and the beggars, and for the emancipation of the captives, and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate; and the performers of their promise when they make a promise, and the patient in distress and affliction and in time of conflicts. These are they who are true, and these are they who are true pious." Koran (Sura 2: 177) * Islam believes in the Judgment Day, a Paradise and a place of perdition (hell?): "The Judgment is imminent." Koran (Sura 53: 57). Another Sura: "And those who believe and do good works, those are the people of the Garden, and there they will remain forever." Koran (Sura 2: 82). * Like Judaism and Christianity, Islam also condemns magic, sorcery and occultism: “They followed what the devil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon. Solomon disbelieved not; but the devil disbelieved, teaching mankind magic and that which was revealed to the two angels in Babel, Harut and Marut. Nor did they (the two angels) teach it to anyone till they had said: We are only a temptation, therefore disbelieve not (in the guidance of Allah). They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew!” Koran (Sura 2: 102). And also: "O ye people! Eat of what is on earth, lawful and good; and do not follow the footsteps of the devil, for he is really to you an avowed enemy." Koran (Sura 2: 168) * Islam seems to see Jesus Christ as just another prophet. Islam seems not to recognize Jesus Christ as the Messiah, the Savior, the Son of God, who came from God to redeem mankind: "This is Hissa (Jesus), son of Mary: word of truth which they doubt. It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is." Koran (Sura 19: 34-35) * Islam seems not to recognize the death of Jesus Christ: “That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not.” Koran (Sura 4: 157). But this other Sura, attributed to Jesus Christ, seems to recognize His resurrection: "And may peace be upon me the day I was born, the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive. Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute." Koran (Sura 19: 33-34) While reading the two suras (chapter), just above, an idea comes in our mind: "Resurrection means: back from death to life. So, if someone has to resurrect, that person must first be dead." But the intent of the Institute of Human Culture is not to denigrate the Koran. Our goal is to understand. We are confident that: "Everything that is understood is good." To read the Koran online, go to: www.lexilogos.com/coran.htm And choose your language. We believe that even if some Jews and some Muslims are at daggers drawn on some issues (Palestine, among others), it is important to keep the measure and avoid all what may seem like a provocation. We are talking about few cartoons of the prophet Mohamed that have made headlines. Check it out yourself: www.Zuneo.net/2006/02/les-12-caricatures-de-mahomet.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jyllands-Posten_Muhammad_cartoons_controversy The link between terrorism and religion is not proved. Here is a book, which speaks of the Koran, and has made so much ink to flow; so much saliva to flow: The Satanic Verses. Salman Rushdie. Éditions Bourgeois. Check it out yourself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Satanic_Verses In the same way, some Jews and Christians have difficulty understanding the reason of this verse from the Koran: "O you who believe! Do not take Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors; they are allies of one another. And those of you who takes them for allies, becomes one of them. Allah does not guide the unjust people." Koran (Sura 5: 51) At the Institute of Human Cultivation, we do believe that criticisms of religions should be wise, constructive and respectable. Criticisms of believe involve criticism of the concept of religion, the validity, practice and consequences of religion, etc. We believe it is possible for people to live their religion, while leaving others live theirs. It is OK to criticize a belief in a wise, constructive, and respectable manner. It is OK to value a religion and, why not, to propose a belief to other people with Love and respect. That's what makes the difference between the mediocre and the true religious being (in the highest sense of the term, a being related to its fellow creature). That's what makes the difference between a fabrication and a true religion (in the highest sense of the term, an ideology that helps connect to others with Love). Because, above all, religious means: To Love; to Love without condition. Now that you have read enough on those seven beliefs; would you like to study a religion (spirituality) beliefs, philosophies, etc.? Yours for example? Or that of somebody else. But you may also want to study a belief (spirituality), beliefs, philosophies, etc., to which someone invites you to join. We invite you to try this exercise of spiritualo-therapy; it will make you feel great jubilation. And who knows, after that you'll be better a spiritualo-therapist. * First. Choose a religion (spirituality), beliefs, philosophies, etc. It does not matter. Or, choose yours. You certainly have one. The most important is to be willing to take a fresh look at your belief, wisely and objectively (if you've chosen your belief by yourself, of course; because someone else may have chosen it for you). Know that your thoughts, words and deeds, are also linked to that choice; the decisions you make, also depend on that choice. These thoughts, words, actions and decisions, will speed up or slow down your race to success and happiness. That belief (spirituality), beliefs, philosophies, etc., will be your subject of study. * Second. Find information on that religion (spirituality), beliefs, philosophies, etc. Discover its: line of conduct, vision, promises, achievements, successes and failures. Internet is full of information, no doubt. Another source of information can be bookstores, libraries, conversations, etc. But while reading on your choice, be sure to also read critics and counter-critics. Read those who agree or disagree with your choice; read those who have belonged or still belong to your group. Talk with them. But above all, read the main book of that belief (spirituality), beliefs, philosophies, etc. Because of ignorance or interest, many groups diverge from basic principles of their main book. Perhaps because these groups add other writings, they add writings that are sometime at odds with their main book. While reading, stay cautious. Because you as well as I do that: "All that glitters is not gold." * Third. For a good understanding of the guideline, vision, promises, achievements, successes, failures, etc., of that religion (spirituality), beliefs, philosophies, etc., we invite you to study the psychology, behavior, intentions, actions, etc., of its members. Study also the person who had founded that belief. Study them also in the light of critics and counter-critics. To do so, use the principles that we've suggested in the section: Knowing your entourage. See: Professional relationships (work, business, undertakings) (Human relations) This exercise is very important. Because it can greatly help you make good decisions; the stake of these decisions may be the very survival of your body, soul and spirit. But also, the very survival your wallet... You will notice that after this exercise, you will know enough; that knowledge will help you engage or disengage yourself. You will know enough, and have a good idea of the group you belong to. So you will not get trapped. Do not let others think for you; do not let others make decisions for you on an issue of such great importance. Your future and the future of those you love, may well depend on that simple exercise. The fact that a majority of people follows someone or something does not mean that someone or something is praiseworthy and worthy of being followed. The fact that parents, wife, husband, children, friends, acquaintances, colleagues, etc., follow someone or something, does not mean that someone or something is commendable and worthy of being followed. The fact that you were born or that you grew up in this or that group, does not mean that this group is praiseworthy and worthy of being followed. Why belong to a religion (spirituality), beliefs, philosophies, etc., just to please others? That pleasure may be fatal, if someone falls into a trap. In other words: "Have you chosen your own religion (spirituality), beliefs, philosophies, etc., or someone else has chosen it for you? Did someone else impose you your beliefs? And if you've chosen your beliefs yourself, have you chosen it after mature reflection, research, analysis, and so on?" If you study carefully a religion (spirituality), beliefs, philosophies, etc., of your choice, by following these three proven and tested steps, you will probably come to a conclusion; a open conclusion. The eyes of your soul will open. You will know what you are talking about. You will know what you are worshiping. As they say here in Québec (Canada): «Vous saurez dans quoi vous vous embarquez.» Translated: "You will know what you're getting yourself into." Because you would have made efforts to understand, and what you will understand will be good for you. Because: "All that is well understood is good." You will know the plain truth, the truth with a capital T; in agreement with your body, your soul and your spirit. Whatever your conclusion, you will get out of a difficult situation. To someone who will invite you to join a religion (spirituality), beliefs, philosophies, etc., you will say "Yes", "Maybe" or "No". You will defend yourself, in a domain filled with wolves dressed in sheep's clothing. Alas! But a domain also filled with noble and magnificent souls; Loving souls. And who knows, with the strong knowledge you have accumulated during this exercise, you will want to take action. You will want to fight theft, crime and lie; directly or indirectly. You will want to spread the Truth; to write a book, create a website, produce a movie, create a play, become a learner, a rich person, a good politician, etc. You will want to do or be all that at the same time, in order to spread the Truth. To do nothing, is useless. To learn, understand and take action, in order to change things for the better, that's what has to be done. You will want to give to the homo-religious its nobility of ancient times; its nobility of the Golden Age. To restore the virtues and knowledge we have suggested on this website. Particularly at our page: Health, in the section: Health of the soul. Also the Section: The development of mental faculties. See: Health of the mind (mental, intellectual) And the page: Human-relations But write to us, we offer you our experiences. "O, religion; you who has made so much Love to flow; but has also made so much ink, saliva, tears and blood to flow, may you... how good and pleasant it would be if..." The Indian Emperor Asoka (300-232 BC) was not far from the truth when he said this: "True religion consist in causing least possible pain, doing good and cultivating love, compassion, sincerity and purity." Regarding the spiritualo-therapy, I feel like counting this bold emperor among the most untied spiritualo-therapists. We know that a religious system that will teach, in practice, all laws and principles that the Institute of Human Cultivation suggests on this site, will make its fellow creatures happy; and thus will make itself happy. Such a noble and virtuous religious system will make the whole Creation happy. True religion is not synonymous with laziness. God always helps us when we ask Him with faith, True and Justice. But through this assistance, the Creator desires that we help ourselves. In fact, sometimes it seems like God wants us to help Him help us. That is maybe why the wise says: "Help yourself and heaven will help you." Jesus Christ say: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." Bible (Matthew 7: 7). True religion also frees us of sentiment of culpability (guilt), anguish, anxiety and negative aggressiveness. True belief frees us of neuroses. Know it: true religion is based on Love. "And we have seen the love that God has for us, and we have believed. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God abides in him." Bible (1 John 4: 16) Blessings,
