It is capital to learn to build professional-relationships in order to succeed and be happy. Building professional-relationships is not difficult. We will show you how to do so.

Key elements in professional-relationships will be discussed in this section. Maintaining professional relationships in office is primordial. You will discover the secret. See our Institute as your professional-relationship coach. We will lead you step by step to a excellent harmony with your colleagues, in your profession

Professional-relationships and your harmony

An exhilarating and exciting occupation, contributes greatly to have and maintain good health; the health of the body, soul, mind (mental, intelligence) and emotions; a harmonious sexuality and good human relations.

We are doing better when our activity is enthusiastic, when we are useful to ourselves and to others. This fact is also true in school; professional-relationships in schools should be taken seriously. This is possible with the culture of a professional-relationship. We provide you with professional relationship advices.

An exciting profession is synonymous with success and happiness. When we love our work, we are more joyful and happier. As a result, our professional-relationships (work, business and undertakings) are more rewarding. And our work increases our revenues. You see? The loop is closed. Everything is interconnected.

Personal and professional-relationships is needed. But human relations in workplaces are challenging; very challenging! Because the workplace is a world somewhat apart. It is a universe that comprises its own rules, and consists of several rules. Some of these rules are the same as those of society. But others of these rules are specific to each workplace. Very challenging? Yes.

Yet we must face the challenge of keeping professional-relationships; and this, especially because many people spend nearly 8 hours per day in their workplace. Some hard workers spend even more than 12 hours a day, if not more.

One way or another in a workplace we meet our co-workers. Each one with its own culture, nature, habits, education, beliefs, character, past, personality, and so on; each one with his own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual age. Some of them need professional relationship help; professional-relationship counseling. Some colleagues are easy to get along with. Others are difficult; difficult to live with. Some are even disagreeably bossy, literally and figuratively.

Yet, colleagues must meet, talk and work together to honor the contracts that bind them. They must coexist, taking into account the rules and regulations of the workplace, taking into account each degree of maturity; respecting each intelligence... How will it be possible, while keeping your balance and your job? We see all the importance of the issue.

Communicate with us if you have professional-relationship questions.

Professional-relationships: Interrelation

Since the beginning of our conversation, we drew your attention to the importance of taking care of your body, soul, mind (mental, intelligence) and emotions. We have shown the importance of having a flourishing sexuality, and the importance of improving your financial situation. All these topics facilitate and enrich human relations (interpersonal relations) as a whole. That is why all these topics are taken very seriously, for anyone who wants to have harmonious interpersonal relations.

We are showing the role and importance of human relations in the pursuit of success and happiness. Human relations also obey specific laws. To study, understand and apply these laws facilitate human relations. The Institute of Human Cultivation does more than drawing your attention to these immutable laws and shows you their importance; we do more than highlighting the role and importance of these eternal laws. We show you how to cultivate good human relations, with practical and tested methods, in compliance with these powerful laws.

"Outside as Inside."

Consistent with our approach since the beginning, we are convinced that the outer world is a reflection of the inner world; and vice versa. We are more certain than ever that many failures (family, love, work, etc.), are also due to a lack of human cultivation. Human nature can and must be cultivated. Human Cultivation, as we teach here, enrich you with virtues.

The character and mental attitude are very important components in the pursuit of success and happiness. That is why we insist on the cultivation of virtues. We continually stress the importance of the nobility of a character. We continually stress the importance of a good mental attitude. See the page: Health, read the section: Health of the soul.

The quality of your health, the harmony of your sexuality, the improvement of your financial situation, the harmony of your interpersonal relations; and a good understanding of the triad: economy-politics-religion (spirituality), depend heavily on the richness of your inner world. "Outside as inside."

You see? Whatever your business (manual work, art, sports, public service, study, trade, politics, religion, retirement, etc.), the results you get depend heavily on the nobility of your character. In accordance with the page: Health, of the section: Health of the body

And the section: Emotional Health (feelings, emotions, sentiments).

In other words, the emotional health is also linked to the health of the body; and vice versa.

Professional-relationships and Competence

Of course, success in each activity is also linked to competence; hence the importance of always developing your skills. Make your work a masterpiece, a vocation. To be good in your field is good, but to be the best is better. Excellence in work, here is the watchword of champions.

That is why, in the page: Health, we laid some foundations for the development of mental faculties, you are invited to discover this very important section: Health of the mind (mental, intellectual).

It is clear that the development of mental faculties also helps better accomplish manual work or other type of work. "Outside as Inside."

Now, to develop good professional-relationships (work, business and undertakings), we will see:

1) The good mentality

2) The good conduct of your life

Health, Sexuality, Money, Human relations. Success and Happiness : Is it possible to live a richer and happier life? Yes! Good health, a flourishing sexuality, a better financial situation and fruitful human relations are within reach.

Let's go!

1) The good mentality

Good professional-relationships (work, business, undertakings), like other relationships, also begin with the development of a good mentality. A good mentality is a mentality based on love, peace and justice. Love, peace and justice create good professional relations (work, business and undertakings).

Helping each other, in the spirit of truth, facilitates professional-relationships. But it also facilitates human relations (interpersonal relationships) as a whole. With such a spirit, you win the support and respect of your colleagues, your employees or your boss.

Gratitude is an important frame of mind. To be grateful creates strong friendships. A thank you from the heart creates solid relations. Such a thank you warms the heart, and encourages the person to whom it was said to want to do more for you.

Thoughts of love, peace, truth and gratitude, awakes other noble forces in us and in our vis-à-vis.

The wise said: "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you." It is true. This Golden Rule is fair and effective. Since the dawn of time, this eternal rule has been effective in all areas of life (love, friendship, economics, politics, religion, etc.). Whoever wants others people to maintains good relations with him, must maintain good relations with them. Blessed who understand the meaning and scope of this truth!

But above all, blessed who puts it into practice! This rule is very similar to the following law: "In life, people reap what they sow." You can sow with your thought, word or action. By serving others, you serve yourself too; this is the good mentality. Allow this good mentality to mature in you, and your professional relations will mature as well.

2) The good conduct of your life

The good conduct of your life, creates good professional-relationships (work, business, undertakings). To conduct well your life, is to practice the Golden Rule: "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you." But it is also to plan well, to organize well, to work well and persevere until total victory. We have already discussed its importance at the page: Health, in the section: Health of the mind; see: Learning to work well.

To work well is also to work in all honesty and goodwill. Such an attitude facilitates professionals’ relations. Because in doing so you receive support, aid and benefits. An honest and goodwill being, is quickly promoted within the company. And if he/she owns a company, that business grows quickly and last long.

To receive, someone must learn to give. We can give a good thought, a word worthy of praise, a noble act, a smile, a laugh, a gift, an encouragement, time, money, knowledge, help, etc. The truth is that you receive back what you give. In fact, anyone who gives to others also gives to itself. Giving is receiving. The tithe is one example; as the offerings and alms. Learning to give a little of oneself, creates friendships and improve professional-relationships (work, business, undertakings); and this improves human relations (interpersonal relations) as a whole.

But one must give in a spirit of love; give with the heart and soul; give willingly with joy. Because what we give is as important as how we give and the attitude of mind that accompanies the gift. That is the difference between making charity and being charitable.

Duc de la Rochefoucauld, a French writer (1613-1680) said: "We would be often ashamed of our finest actions, if the world was able to see all reasons that motivate them."

3) Knowing how to please others

The art of pleasing others is related to your personality; your physical personality and your inner personality. Learning to please others means: learning to cultivate good professional-relationships (work, business and undertakings).

In life, it is also the first contact that matters most. The image you project, may decide the outcome of a meeting. That image can create sympathy or antipathy. Your image can be projected through your appearance, your actions, your words and your thoughts. A good appearance, fine words and noble thoughts improve your professional-relationships. To attract or keep your entourage depends partly on you. Learning to develop your power of attraction can open many doors; the doors of success and happiness.

"Inside as Outside."

Your outside appearance is as important as your inside appearance; and vice versa. Regarding the internal appearance, we know that whoever develops the virtues we have mentioned at the web page: Health, in the section: The health of the soul, will have a more attractive personality.

The internal appearance is the reflection of the external appearance; and vice versa. Such a person will love and help others; will make its neighbors happy. Know that the beauty of the body is also related to the beauty of the soul. A beautiful soul embellishes the body. A beautiful soul illuminates the face. The face is a summary of the soul; the natural face of course.

Regarding the appearance, we have already shown the importance of wearing proper dress and taking care of the body. At our Health page, read the section: The importance of taking care of the body and clothes. See: Health of the body.

The application of all principles we suggest on this website, improves professional-relationships (work, business and undertakings); these principles facilitate promotion. To have a good appearance, is a good tool for success. To dress properly, helps win the trust, respect and consideration of colleagues. Everyone must choose his clothing, according to his workplace and the goal.

The power to please has a psychological and physical dimension. These two dimensions are complementary. To take care of the body, soul, mind (mental, intelligence), emotions, sexuality, finances and human relations, increases the power of attraction. The facial expression becomes full of goodness. A positive mind increases self-confidence. You become more open to your fellow creatures; you voluntary approach them with good intentions. At your workplace, you are likeable and people are eager to approach you.

They seek your company, because they feel good with you. Many people offer to help you and make your life easier, because they immediately recognize a great soul; a noble and authentic soul. Practically, these good human relations (interpersonal relations) are reflected in your life by success and happiness.

4) Presenting yourself efficiently

The inner freedom is an important factor in professional-relationships. This inner freedom must not be confused with inner libertinism and debauchery. The inner freedom is based on virtues in the Law; while the inner libertinism and debauchery are based on the mediocrity of the outlaw. The inner freedom is not synonymous with inner vagrancy and happy-go-lucky attitude. True freedom is synonymous with discipline; respect for the law and order, with love, peace and justice.

We have already identified and studied some obstacles to the development of a being. At the page: Health, refer to the section: The conquest of the unconscious (subconscious). See the web page:

Emotional health (feelings, emotions, sentiments)

It is a very important section, because its understanding can greatly improve your professional-relationships (work, business and undertakings); but also improve your human relations (interpersonal relations) as a whole.

The conduct of a being also determines the degree of its success (love, professional, financial, etc.); the inner conduct and the outer conduct. Politeness and good manners make your life easier, because these virtues facilitate the lives of those around you. Good manners are tact. Respect for our fellow creatures forbids us to hurt them with our thoughts, words and deeds.

To discharge a bad mood on someone is a sign of mental weakness. Sooner or later, these aggressive discharges affect the source; it is a boomerang. Physical or mental illness, lack of inner peace, failures and misfortunes, are few consequences. In accordance with the law: "In life, people reap what they sow."

The true inner freedom, is a sign of strength and confidence. A being, internally free, does not know pathological fear; morbid fear and shyness. That being does not know fear, morbid anguish and anxiety, guilt and negative aggressiveness.

His inner and outer attitude is marked by love, wisdom and peace. His handshake is warm and frank. His gaze is frank and full of compassion. His gestures are friendly and appropriate. His good humor is a scent of roses. His equal mood is a perfume of good smell. His noble thoughts and tasteful conversation make him attractive. His delicate personality radiates a quiet strength. Such a being appears graciously and leaves politely. His flexible and determined walk reflects his inner confidence. His spirit pointed toward victory, he moves towards his assured legacy.

Such a being runs towards success and happiness; success and happiness run towards him; because he has good friends and relationships. His professional-relationships are in full harmony.

5) Knowing your entourage

6) The conquest of your entourage

After having learned to know your entourage, it seems natural to conquer your entourage. But this is a likeable conquest; you have guessed it. We have no intention to remove the inside or outside freedom of our fellow creatures. Leave this poor task to the mediocres, second-rates individual, those who ignore or pretend to ignore the path of success and happiness.

We want to conquer our entourage, in order to make people happy and make us happy. Conquer your entourage and have a better professional-relationships.

How do we do this practically?

In fact, we have already begun this conquest since the very beginning of our conversation; at our Home page. And more recently, above, with the previous sections: The good mentality; The good conduct of your life; Knowing how to please others; Presenting yourself efficiently; Knowing your entourage.

Whoever applies all principles we have suggested in the above sections, in light of other principles that we suggest on this site, improves its interpersonal relations; and conquers its entourage.

At the page: Health, in the section: Health of the mind, see: The development of mental faculties, we have already developed the art of observing, listening, talking well, etc. Here, we want to add few ingredients beneficial to the harmony of professional-relationships; thus to human relations.

We have seen how important it is to act well, in order to have good relations with people. A frank glance, full of compassion; noble thoughts, appropriate words, good manners, proper dress and nice physical appearance, etc., contribute to success and happiness.

To conquer human beings, things or events, can be done directly or indirectly. Sometimes you will have to face them directly, but sometimes it will be wise to face them indirectly. For some situations it is necessary to break the door; but for other situations it is advisable to find the right key. But some doors can only be opened from inside... Again, common sense guides you. If this common sense guides you with love and knowledge we provide here, you will have wonderful results; better professional-relationships.

You win human beings by putting yourself at their place, in order to better understand them. First, you "agree" with someone. From this position, he is easy to give your point of view, to reason with him and make him join your cause. The person must believe that you are in its side. He/she must be able to see in you someone who wants something good for him/her; you have to be an ear which can listen, a noble soul who can love him/her, a mind that can understand and advise him/her.

The truth is this: the influence that you want to have on someone, will be greater if you also look for his interest. That influence should be exercised sympathetically. Your approach should be honest and right. This is how your approach will be very effective. Do not play the card of hypocrisy.

Know that the psychology of many human beings, if not all, operates on this basis. Human beings love people who show interest to them. Spouses, children, friends, colleagues, strangers, etc. Human beings need attention and love. Knowing this, create conditions of your success, in all sincerity and with great love.

7) Working efficiently

Since working well is synonymous with knowing how to work; knowing how to work can increase your competence and increase the quantity of your work; being competent can facilitate your professional-relationships. Work hard, but work also smart. At the page: Health, see the Health of the soul, we invite you to read again the section: Learning to work well, where we have developed the important topic in detail.

8) Success in your profession

9) Success in business

10) Being a good leader

Here, the word chef is used for both women and men. It's funny how many people seek to become a leader without the required qualities and knowledge: head teacher, head of the class, conductor, station master, head of an enterprise, chief of staff, office manager, head of the village, head of state, commander in chief, head of the tribe, troop leader, chief battalion, and so on. And why not, head of the head. But truly, what is a head? What is a true leader?

The dictionary Quillet Flammarion, define a chief as someone who has authority over a group. But a group of what? A group of who?

Note that the word chief comes from the Latin word: caput, which means head. Now I understand why a manager should have his head on his shoulders, in order to carry out its function efficiently.

But let’s get back to our sheep... More seriously, a leader is someone who leads people or things. Two qualities of a leader are competence and compassion, among others. Yes. A leader who knows what he/she is talking about, and who leads with love, is a leader in the noblest sense of the term. One such leader is a good leader.

Whether young or old: "To souls well born, wisdom awaits not the years."

At first, a good leader must have the burning desire to guide and help others. But this is nothing; it is not enough if that person has no competence or compassion for his fellow creatures. To want to lead without competence means: to want to lead blindly. But if a blind guide other blinds, they may fall into a hole.

History and present time show that many incompetent leaders have opted for dictatorship. Unable to raise noble ideas (ideas they do not have), they opt for dictatorship and authoritarianism; dictatorship and authoritarianism are also indices of mediocrity. Due to their incompetence, in part, these bad leaders give hard time to their entourage and make people sweat. But more and more people do not sweat it out anymore. Our remarks are not an act of accusation.

Therefore, anyone who wants to be a leader, must learn and understand how to lead. Leadership requires competence, compassion, a great inner strength, absolute confidence, unlimited courage, and so on.

A true chief is not a theft; not a liar as well. A true chief avoid mischief and malice. A true headman does not lose his head. It is important for a leader to know itself thoroughly and deeply. According to this thought: "Know thyself." For such an inner knowledge, allows him to deploy its noble strengths, to eliminate its flaws and to better know others people. Such a leader acquires a greater degree of self-control.

It is possible to develop many qualities of a leader; because each of us has some natural and cultural abilities to lead. Indeed, those who have read us very well from the beginning, know that this web site contains principles that form a good leader. Truly, a good leader should form others people to also become leaders; willingly.

professional-relationships: an exercise

But no sweat. Here is a heading exercise: Imagine you are in charge of people or things, imagine that you lead people or things. Imagine you are in a kindergarten, and you are taking care of children; your goal is to help them grow, mature and become independent. In this exercise of imagination, please let’s remain modest. The purpose of this exercise is not to take oneself for what it is not; quite the contrary. The purpose of this exercise is to cultivate a mental reflex, an attitude of mind that may be useful to you and your fellow creatures; with love and modesty.

The next time you exercise your function of leader, headman / headwoman, or manager, try this exercise. It has the power to make someone become a better leader. It has the power to make someone more comprehensive, attentive, and more lovable. Try it. You will see, your work will be a masterpiece of skill; a masterpiece and a work of a headman... headmistress.

Leadership is not a child's play because it entails the lives and future of the multitude; it entails the lives of a large number. A good leader, aware of this great responsibility, must also increase its skills with the help of all foundations laid at the web page: Health, in the section: Health of the mind; see: The development of mental faculties, but also with all foundations laid in this website.

And most importantly, a good leader must cultivate noble virtues with the help of all foundations laid in the web page Health; see the section: The health of the soul.
