Emotional health: definitions What about emotional-health? What is emotional health? In this section we will discover it. We also describe physical and emotional health, and show how to harmonize them. Health and emotional well being are explained; emotional and social health as well. We will show how to optimize this health triangle: emotional, social, physical. But firstly, what is an emotion and a feeling? Here's what a current dictionary says: "An emotion is an agitation of the soul." "A feeling is an impression, a movement of the soul, a penchant." And here is a definition from a medical dictionary: "An emotion is an emotional response (pleasant or unpleasant), to a mental stimulation. An emotion is a brief and intense reaction (redness, an increase of heart rate, etc.). The term emotion is mainly applied for a more durable reaction, disseminated and more complex reaction (love, hate, etc)." The content of these second brackets is added by us. Simply put: a feeling is a more complex emotion that persists over time. We will provide you with useful knowledge, practical exercises and info about emotional-health. Here we go... As we have said previously: «The mind and emotions are very closely linked.» Go back to the form you have created in the beginning of our conversation. You remember, you've titled it: My Cue Card. That cue card is important for your emotional-health. Firstly, you have included things that please you, put you in a good mood, make you laugh, embellish your life, calm you, relax you, make you see the brightest part of life, and so on. :) And secondly, you have listed things that make you sad, put you in a bad mood, make you cry, chagrin you, upset you, etc. :( This preparation was very important for your emotional-health, because success and happiness also means: To cultivate what makes you happy To solve problems that make you unhappy Emotional-Health: joy and happiness Imagine for a moment that people are permanently inhabited by feelings of joy and happiness. Imagine that people are always in perfect control of themselves and their emotions. And yet it is possible, with willpower and exercises. It is also possible because: those who read and put into practice the basics of Human Culture we provide, realize that joy and happiness obey to precise laws. Those law influence your emotional-health. To understand and implement the laws governing the body, soul, mind, emotions, sexuality, improvement of the financial situation, human relations (interpersonal relations)... brings real achievement and joy. That is to say: brings true success and happiness. Bad mood, fear, anger, hatred, bitterness, anguish, anxiety, the list goes on, act as toxins; dangerous poisons. Like many other negative thoughts, emotions or sentiments, they weaken the body, soul and spirit. These kinds of thoughts might cause many neuroses and nervous depressions. They might impair the emotional-health (induce physical and mental diseases), in addition to breaking interpersonal relations (human relations). Let’s say it again: There is a strong link between body soul and mind. The proof is that disharmonious emotions and sentiments could lead someone to overeating, with obesity or overweight as consequences; and vice versa. In another way, disharmonious emotions and sentiments could lead someone not to eat enough, with cachexia (thinness) as consequence; and vice versa. Restoring emotional-health is also the goal of this section. Emotional-Health and fear One of the most prevalent emotion and feeling today is fear. Many people are afraid of everything and nothing; justified fear and unjustified fear. It seems like this civilization is distilling fear through education provided by some of its institutions; the culture of fear. Some people are afraid of being afraid. Don’t be afraid. "Easier said than done." You might tell me. And yet, it is possible to learn not to be afraid. It is also essential to eradicate this culture of fear. Fear impair emotional-health. The Institute of Human Cultivation provides you with knowledge that free you from fear. Only the fear of falling and the fear of being abandoned are the two fears that a child knows before his education. These two fears are natural. Other types of fears are cultural; they are acquired by an erroneous education. These negative thoughts, like fear, could lead to failure. In the same way, too much worries and envy paralyze vital forces of the soul, dis-harmonize emotions and prevents noble sentiments to mature. Poorly managed, all these negative emotions and sentiments might lead to half victories; or to any victory at all. But let’s understand well. We know that some emotions and sentiments, "positive" or "negative", can speed someone up during daily activities. Emotional-health at work is discussed in the section: Human relations. Many times, these kinds of emotions and sentiments have propelled us to remarkable victories. Fear or anger, well tamed, well controlled and channeled, can help you achieve physical and mental prowess. Emotion/feeling of love or hatred, properly controlled, can help you achieve the impossible. Here, impossible means impossible. It all depends on what someone loves and what someone hates... The point is not to repress or eliminate "negative" emotions and sentiments that we have cited above (it is not good for your emotional-health). It is rather necessary to identify, understand, control them; and channel them into noble and virtuous objectives. It is necessary to use all your emotions and sentiments wisely in order to succeed and be happy. That is why we put quotation marks for the words "positive" and "negative". Emotional-Health noble thoughts (virtues) Learn to live with noble thoughts, words and actions; and you we will accomplish great things. You will be healed and also prevent many diseases. That is why the Institute of Human Cultivation (IHC) shows you how to tame your emotions and sentiments, how to control them, how to arouse your most noble emotions and sentiments; how to use them in your daily activities; in order to succeed and be happy in your life. Please read very carefully the following, because many articles about mental and emotional-health do not cover what you are about to discover. Success and Happiness : Is it possible to live a richer and happier life? Yes! Good health, a flourishing sexuality, a better financial situation and fruitful human relations are within reach. Identification of your emotions and sentiments
Understanding emotional-health is also your key to success and happiness. We have already proposed a list of virtues. Please read the section: Health of the soul. It was: Love, Joy, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faith (fidelity, confidence), Gentleness, Self-control. You remember... Good. These virtues can be emotions or sentiments, depending on their complexity and duration. Of course you can add other virtues. But these 9 virtues are generic; they encompass and generate many other virtues. That is why we believe that these 9 virtues are, in type and number, sufficient to bring success and happiness. And you also remember that Love generates other virtues: patience, helpfulness, charitableness, faithfulness, no jealousy and envy, no boasting, no puffing up, avoid what is dishonest and indecent, no self-seeking, no anger, no murder, no meditation on evil, forgiveness, avoid injustice and welcome the truth. Voilà. 17 other virtues generated by love. Take note that these virtues are also linked to emotional-health in children. Aging and emotional-health will also be part of our conversation. We will discuss womens emotional-health as well. Also, at the end of that same section, we have listed few vices (not good for the emotional-health). They are: selfishness (egocentricity), greediness (avarice), presumption (to have a too high opinion of oneself), the love of the ego, pride (to be haughty), blasphemy, disobedience (against parents, oneself, knowledge and competent authority), ingratitude, infidelity, wickedness (insensitivity), harshness (headstrong), unforgiveness, defamation (to slander), lack of self-control, cruelty, not lovers of the good, etc. Spiritual poison In the following emotional-health articles, we invite you to discover your emotions and sentiments. To do so, read carefully the definition of all those virtues and vices, using a regular dictionary, medical, and why not... a psychological dictionary. After each definition, pose; take time to think and meditate. MeditationTechniques Guide Meditation Techniques Guide offers in-depth knowledge of Meditation and a large collection of meditation techniques that help to reduce stress, achieve mental peace and tranquility, and a total self-transformation. Is the meaning and scope of each definition are net and clear for you? How these definitions apply in your life? Have you ever experienced these emotions or sentiments? When, where, why, with who, and how did you feel? When you experienced them, did they help you solve your problems? What were the practical consequences in your life and the life of your entourage? Do these emotions and sentiments still exist today? These simple questions, if answered honestly, will contribute to your emotional-health. At this stage of our journey, we believe that the identification of emotions and sentiments is done. Let’s say has begun... The wake of emotions and sentiments has started. Emotional-health and wellness are at hand; read on: Emotional-Health: The flowers of evil Behavioral and emotional-health are interrelated. Many people live with paralyzed emotions and sentiments. A human being without emotions and sentiments is a dry and cold human being. A cold and dry human being is a bit like a tree without roots, or a tree uprooted; a tree without fruits. Many people have repressed their emotions and sentiments, often despite themselves. Their sensitivity has been blocked, often despite themselves. Thus, their emotional-health is not optimized, they are missing the joys and successes that they were suppose to enjoy; they are missing many victories in many domains of their life. These creatures are moving there and there, without expressing their full potential. Some of them do not love anymore, do not love anything anymore. They do not love their fellow-creatures and their own-selves. They do not love life anymore. Broken dreams, projects died in the bud, trust betrayed, disappointed hopes, and so on: Wounded heart. And as a hot iron, the difficulties of this world continue to aggravate all these bleeding wounds; continually. These painful memories continually saw their heart and disrupt their emotional-health. They are chagrined. They are angry. Bitterness has made them bitter; very bitter. They feel annoyed by the whole world and by themselves. Nothing amazes or fascinates them. "Life is not worth to be lived." They say. As a machine of flesh and blood, they move on... move back... In fact, they turn in circles. They undertake many things, but there is always a return to square one. The permanent failure. Their emotional-health is troubled. Their flame vacillates. Their sacred fire appears to have been extinguished. By who, by what? For one reason or another, they regret being born: Wounded soul. And yet, there is still hope. The truth is that many of these creatures want to fight and succeed. They are fighting their best. But their struggles make them turn in circles. They seem to fight against windmills. The failures they accumulate overheat their frustrations. And these frustrations feed their depression. Tired, they are exhausted. Why? Because they do not have the proper combat tools; the effective tools... These are tools that the Institute of Human Cultivation offers them in this website, to harmonize their emotional-health. They will use them and succeed too. They will use them and enjoy success and happiness. Emotional-Health: How to awake your emotions and sentiments, in practice? Awakening or intensify your emotions and sentiments, can help you identify them; control and harmonize them; in so doing, you will better coop with them, in order to enjoy success and happiness. That is to say, to better live your life with a good emotional-health. Obviously, for some people whose emotions and sentiments are already quite awaked, they will just have to intensify them. We will see how. Awakening your emotions and sentiments is just one tool among several that we suggest in this site. Let’s make it clear. From the very beginning of our conversation, we have discussed the health of the body. For this section appears to us as the foundation of a solid house. This solid house is the whole human being; the spiritual, mental, emotional, and sexual individual; this individual in relation to its financial position, in relation to its environment (human relations, interpersonal relations), in relation to economy, politics and religion (spirituality). You see? Here again we ask for your full attention: each of these topics is as important as another topic! They all contribute to your emotional-health. The reading, study and implementation of these very effective suggestions must be done as a whole; all together. To read, study and put into practice only a portion of these suggestions might not give you the anticipated results. Of course, we know that some people will just need some of these suggestions to be victorious in the areas of their interest. But believe us, most people will have to read, study and put into practice all these suggestions; from the beginning to the end; without hurry. There is no point running, a good start is the best. And good things come to those who wait. Why put the cart before the horse? We have said it many times. But let’s say it again: "Each of us has a degree of progress and maturity of its own." But that degree of progress and maturity can be increased. We know that some forms of depression are linked to unhealthy diet, lack of vitamins (especially vitamins B). Some sexual dysfunctions are linked to depression. A poor financial situation may cause a poor diet. Poor interpersonal relations can generate poverty. An unwise understanding and implementation of economy politics or religious can lead to depression and threaten emotional-health. And the loop is closed. Do you see the loop? It is possible to increase and combine the loops to the infinite. Everything-is-linked and influence your emotional-health. In the same way, healthy food can flourish sexuality. A good financial situation can harmonize emotions. A healthy mind (intelligence) can understand and make a political task, religious and economy. A flourishing sexuality can facilitate interpersonal relationships. Harmonized emotions can be the source of a healthy mind (intelligence). While a wise implementation of a political, religious and economic duty can improve a financial situation. And the loop is closed. Do you see the loop? It is possible to increase and vary the loops to the infinite. Everything-is-interlinked and influence your emotional-health. Emotional-Health: Interrelation In simple, what we want to reiterate here is this: the health of the body, soul, mind (intelligence), emotions; a healthy sexuality, a good financial situation; good interpersonal relationships; a wise understanding and application of political, religious and economic duty are interrelated. All these themes, topics and sections must be read, studied and put into practice as a whole (all of them contribute to your emotional-health). This is how the anticipated success will smile to you. As in the natural human body, it is hard to imagine the liver functioning without the help of the heart; the sexual apparatus functioning without the help of the nervous system; the eyes functioning without the help of the brain; and so on. In a same way, health, sexuality, money, human relations, economy, politics, religion (spirituality), etc., are interlinked and influence your emotional-health. Everything-is-interconnected. Emotional-Health: Awaking emotions and sentiments This brief reminder was useful. And now, let's see how to awake emotions and sentiments, in practice. Because, as we have already said earlier: "Awakening or intensify your emotions and sentiments can help you identify them; control and harmonize them; in so doing, you will better coop with them, in order to enjoy success and happiness. That is to say, to better live your life. Obviously, for some people whose emotions and sentiments are already quite awaked, they will just have to intensify them." To awake your emotions and sentiments, and harmonize emotional-health, we will not go by four paths. Use our preparatory exercise provided in the section: Increase your strengths through the science of breathing. See: Health of the body. Use the virtues listed in the section: The health of the soul: Love, Joy, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faith (fidelity, confidence), Gentleness, Self-control. All these virtues are also linked to peace; just as honesty, justice, forgiveness... Do this: 1) Once you have practiced the breathing exercise, take a virtue. Love, for example. Note that this virtue (Love) can be an emotion or a sentiment (depending of the length and the complexity of that feeling). 2) Think of someone or something that you love or that you have loved. This thought must be vivid and colorful. And this image, with all its forms well defined, should move in your mind. 3) Now, be very careful to the emotion or sentiment that emerges from your conscious and your subconscious (unconscious). Let that emotion or sentiment emerges and overflows you. Live this sweet moment in tranquility; for a few minutes; while contemplating that inner emotion or sentiment, ask yourself why you love (or have loved) that person or that thing. 4) Then intensify that emotion or sentiment. Feel it flowing in every part of your being. Feel a deep pleasure and great joy. Feel that emotion or sentiment vibrating in all fibers of your being. Feel a warm heat wrapping your heart, like honey coats sugar. Listen to that sweet emotion or sentiment. We have said that we won’t go by four paths. If you practice this exercise well, you will get wonderful results. You will awake your emotion or sentiment of love. You will also intensify it. You will optimize your emotional-health. In one way or another, you will see how that emotion or sentiment was still unknown or repressed; frozen. Some of your physical and mental strengths will be awaked; this will lead you to success and happiness. You will palpitate with a new energy; energy brought by this noble virtue: Love. And as the poet said, you will also say: "Love still exists." The best times to practice these exercises are: when you wake up and when you go to sleep; because these are times when your subconscious (unconscious) is more receptive. Of course, it is equally appropriate to practice them at other times of the day. The list of virtues we provide you with is just one suggestion. You might want to practice with other virtues more appropriate to your situation and needs. Go ahead. Here, the only limit is your imagination. Variation of that exercice After that, we advise you to exercise with other emotions or sentiments; a little different, such as hatred, grief, fear, anguish, anxiety, shyness, sentiment of inferiority, complex of inferiority, sentiment of guilt, etc. Those are often called "flaws". If you decide to practice with hatred, we don’t suggest to hate someone or something. Teaching hatred is not the aim of the Institute of Human Cultivation (IHC). In this site, we show how to awake or intensify noble emotions and sentiments. But this exercise (with hatred) can help you identify other kind of emotions and sentiment; to better coop with them; to harmonize, control and channel them for your advantage in order to succeed and be happy. This mental exercise can contribute to optimize your emotional-health. Of course some people will use this exercise to hate alcoholism, smoking, illicit drugs and other bad habits; and why not use this exercise to "hate" hatred... We write "vices" and some words in quotes this time; because these are relative vices. Actually some vices, well understood (before being eliminated), can help become a better person. Here we go... 1) Once you have practiced the breathing exercise, take a "vice". Hatred, for example. Note that this "vice" may be an emotion or sentiment (depending of the length and the complexity of that feeling). 2) Think of someone or something you hate or have hated. This thought must be vivid and colorful. And this image, with all its forms well defined, should move in your mind. 3) Now, be very careful to the emotion or sentiment that emerges from your conscious and your subconscious (unconscious). Let that emotion or sentiment emerges and overflows you. Live this moment in tranquility; for a few minutes; while contemplating that inner emotion or sentiment, ask yourself why you hate (or have hated) that person or that thing. 4) Then intensify that emotion or sentiment. Feel it flowing clearly in your consciousness. Feel a deep pleasure and great joy. Hear that emotion or sentiment dialoging with your entire being. See that emotion or sentiment in all sincerity. Listen how it reveals its identity and gives you all the details of its identity. Here again, if you practice this exercise well, you will get wonderful results. You will awake and identify the targeted emotion or sentiment. You will also intensify it. Your emotional-health will optimized. In one way or another, you will see how that emotion or sentiment was still unknown, or was repressed; frozen. You will have a better control on your stress and anger. Some of your physical and mental strengths will be awaked; this will lead you to success and happiness. You will palpitate with a new energy; energy brought by the fact that you have identified, understood and used an emotion or sentiment for your advantage. The best times to practice these exercises are: when you wake up and when you go to bed; because these are times when your subconscious (unconscious) is more receptive. Of course, it is equally appropriate to practice them at other times of the day. During those exercises, some emotions and sentiments won’t be pleasant companions. It may even happen that you regret having invited them in your consciousness. This could be because you have touched a painful emotion or sentiment buried deep in your subconscious; a repressed and hided emotion or sentiment that your consciousness refuses to look face to face. And yet this face to face, though painful, is often the price to pay for anyone who wants to harmonize its emotions and sentiments, in order to optimize your emotional-health and move towards success and happiness. That is why it is urgent to persist, without forcing anything. At times, it will be necessary to take a break; to rest and return to the exercise. Whoever makes efforts and persists will win. The easy way is not always the best way. A short cut sometime cuts short. The victory without asceticism, success without effort... this is another trap; another larks’ mirror; another mirage. During these exercises, it might happen that you laugh or cry; you might also feel a deep joy or an unsustainable anger, and so on. Don’t worry. These expressions of your emotions or sentiments will prove that your exercises are well done, and that you're on the right track. Persist. These exercises can help you identify an emotion or a sentiment. And thus help to better understand, control, harmonize and channel them for your advantage; optimize your emotional-health. These exercises can help you acquire or strengthen useful virtues for your development. These exercises can help you get rid of certain habits harmful to your progress: absolute vices. Emotional-Health: Another variation of that exercice Some of you will prefer to exercise by contrast. That is to say: will prefer to contrast each virtue to its opposite; its "vice". Thus: • After having exercised with Love, they will exercise with "hatred". • After having exercised with Joy, they will exercise with "sadness". • After having exercised with Patience, they will exercise with "impatience". • After having exercised with Kindness, they will exercise with "malice". • After having exercised with Goodness, they will exercise with "indifference". • After having exercised with Faith (fidelity), they will exercise with "infidelity, lack of confidence". • After having exercised with Gentleness, they will exercise with "harshness". • After having exercised with Self-control, they will exercise with "lack of Control". • Peace (war); Honesty (dishonesty); Justice (+); Forgiveness (). • Etc. If you practice these exercises, you will notice that many of your dreams (day or night) will increase. Just as their duration, their clarity, and your ability to remember them in their smallest details. This is normal. In fact, with these exercises, you've already started the exploration of your inner being; your subconscious (unconscious). Your inner universe starts to reveal its content. And your emotional-health will be harmonized.
We will develop this important point very soon, in the section: The conquest of the unconscious (subconscious). In the meantime, in your Diary, continue to note meticulously all your dreams, your successes, your progresses, your thoughts, your experiences, and so on. Specify the dates, places and circumstances. Write dawn your "failures"; for you will soon learn to transform "failures" into victories. Emotional-Health: Annexe We suggest you explore the links below, because sometime it is necessary to add a biological dimension in a psychological one: ClariMind Memory & Concentration Supplement. A clear mind may help harmonize emotions. Cosmic Joy for Mood Enhancement. Click on: Cosmic Joy - Mood, on your right. Overcome fear, depression, anguish, anxiety; optimize your mood. Emotional-Health: Control your emotions and sentiments The control of the body, soul, mind (mental, intelligence), emotions sentiments and human relations, is a must for anyone who wants to succeed and be happy. Everything we do, say and think must be mastered. But beware. Here, to master means: to have the perfect control. To master does not mean: to repress or freeze. For the repression of emotions or feelings could lead to psychological refoulements. And these psychological refoulements could lead to neuroses, which in turn could generate psychosomatic diseases. To somatize emotions may cause psychosomatic diseases; it is not good for the emotional-health. This is particularly true for repressions of a sexual nature, as we will see in the section: Sexuality ♥. To master means to dominate and be the master/mistress. To be able to identify your emotions and sentiments; to be able to discover, understand and tame them; to be able to control your conscious or unconscious impulses, to channel them towards noble objectives and virtues, and transform them into tools of victory; to be able to anticipate and direct them, change them, adapt them to the reality; to be able to propel them towards the good. In two words, to harmonize your emotional-health, to use your emotions and sentiments wisely in order to succeed and be happy. By learning to take care of your body, soul, mind (mental, intelligence), sexuality, money, and your interpersonal relations; you also learn to take care of your emotions and sentiments. To take care of this, means also to take care of that. To master this, helps also to master that. Because we have already said: everything is interconnected. For example: in the natural human body, it is hard to imagine the liver functioning without the help of the heart; and the sexual apparatus functioning without the help of the nervous system; the eyes functioning without the help of the brain, and so on. Everything is linked. This means that if you've read, studied and practiced all suggestions made during our conversation, you've already made a very big step towards the control of your emotions and sentiments. But other tools will follow. The other topics entitled: Sexuality ♥, Money, Human relations (interpersonal relations) will complement what you have discovered up to here. As far as we are concerned here, the control of emotions and sentiments is crucial for your emotional-health. In fact, the control of emotions and sentiments is made possible through the discovery of these emotions and sentiments. How would it be possible to control what is not known? That is why in the section: The health of the soul, and this current section: Emotional health (feelings, emotions, sentiments), we have begun to identify, discover, understand and tame some emotions and sentiments. We say: we have begun. For one thing is to discover, understand and tame some emotions and sentiments; but another thing is to understand their meaning and scope, to grasp their signification. The signification of deep emotions and sentiments, just as the very meaning of the body, soul, mind (mental, intelligence), sexuality, money (financial situation), interpersonal relationships (human relations), is partly rooted in the subconscious (unconscious). Therefore, it is naturally that we will go to the conquest of the unconscious (subconscious). Emotional-Health: The conquest of the unconscious (subconscious) Maybe we should have say: The discovery of the unconscious (subconscious). But the term conquest fits with to what you will read. Now let’s go over a few obstacles to the development of being. While reading and studying them, keep in mind that these few obstacles are obstacles only if someone fails to control them. As we have already mentioned above: We know that some "positive" or "negative" emotions and sentiments, can speed up daily activities. That is why the words "positive" and "negative" are in quotation marks. Many times, some emotions and sentiments have propelled us towards victories. Fear or anger well tamed and well controlled, can help achieve physical and mental prowess. Love or hatred properly controlled, can contribute to harmonize the emotional-health and lead someone to do the impossible. Here, the impossible means the impossible. It all depends on what someone loves or hates... The point is not to paralyze or eliminate "negative" emotions and sentiments that we cited above. It is rather to identify, understand, control and channel them into noble and virtuous objectives. Don’t let your emotions and your sentiments use you. Use all your emotions and sentiments in order to succeed and be happy. In turn, we will develop the following points: 1) What is psychoanalysis? 2) What is the conscious? 3) What is the unconscious, (the subconscious)? 4) What is repression (psychological refoulement)? 5) What is a neurosis? 6) What is a complex? 7) What is a psychosomatic illness? 8) What is psychotherapy? • Overcoming neurosis • Overcoming depression • Overcoming emotional blockages • Overcoming psychological inhibitions • Overcoming fear • Overcoming phobias • Overcoming anguish and anxiety • Overcoming shyness • Overcoming loneliness • Overcoming feelings of inferiority (sentiment of inferiority) • Overcoming feelings of guilt (sentiments of guilt) Let’s go!
There are different branches of psychology: - Surface psychology (counseling psychology and group psychology). - Deep psychology (symbolic psychotherapy, strict analysis, analytical psychology). - Psychology applied in a specific institution (institutional psychology). * Counseling psychology provides an immediate and practical help to a patient. Counseling psychology gives appropriate guidance in order to solve specific problems. This type of psychotherapy directs and "supports" someone in need. It provides assistance to a subject and helps solve a difficulty in his life, without trying to analyze in depth the origin of the difficulty. Counseling psychology can help optimize emotional-health. * Group psychology. Psychoanalytic psychology has two components: psychotherapy of expression and group psychology. Psychotherapy of expression includes psychodrama, awaked dream and plastic expression. Group psychology is a psychology directed at several people together, since many patients are involved in the cure. Group psychology can help harmonize emotional-health. But these two techniques (counseling psychology and group psychology), known as surface psychology, are less deep; since they do not reach the deepest part of the unconscious. Yet the most persistent conflicts and their root causes are found in the deepest part of the unconscious of a patient. * Symbolic psychotherapy can be used alone or combined with an analysis. Based on the patient's imagination, this method uses symbols to detect a complex, a refoulement and memories of the unconscious. Symbolic psychotherapy can help keep emotional-health. * Strict analysis, is the classic analysis. The patient lies down on a couch. And seated behind him, the analyst listens in silence; and speaks only if needed. The patient is asked to make "free associations." A part of the psychoanalytic approach is to find the links between these "free associations" and the conflict presented. In doing so, the psychoanalyst brings the patient into the depths of his unconscious, in order to analyze and interpret the resistances and unconscious defenses of that patient. Strict analysis helps improve emotional-health. The psychoanalyst will also analyze and interpret childhood conflicts that the patient has refouled. This analysis and interpretation are intended to cure the patient and rebalance its personality. But a strict analysis can also be done on a "normal" individual, for self-improvement. As in other therapeutic approaches, tranquilizers (neuroleptics; antipsychotics) may be associated with treatment. Strict analysis is the deepest and most demanding psychoanalytic methods; undoubtedly the most effective. * Psychoanalytic psychology is more flexible and active. But in this approach the patient and the psychoanalyst sit face to face. They hold a conversation, during which the analyst helps the patient to become aware of certain facts (neurosis, internal conflicts).Psychoanalytic psychology contribute to emotional-health. * Institutional psychology. Or psychology in a specific institution. This approach uses specialized institutions such as workshops, schools, jails, etc., to solve psychological conflicts. Institutional psychology can positively influence emotional-health. Emotional-Health and self-analysis Beside all those approaches, self-analysis is possible. In this approach, a patient or a "normal" individual analyzes his own self. But this is a tour de force; a feat of strength restricted to few "elected"; a specific approach, restricted to those who are able to see themselves as they are without fear. Because a self-analysis (or an analysis) requires that someone has the courage, sincerity and willingness to see himself/herself as he/she is. This is the challenge of psychoanalysis; but also all its simplicity. But well done, self-analysis is a good contribution to emotional-health. Please read: Self-analysis of Karen Horney. To read, study and understand a good book on psychoanalysis, can greatly help to begin a self-analysis. For in so doing, someone will understand the composition, structure and mechanism of his inner world (his subcounscious). Someone will understand the procedures and practices of psychoanalysis. Self-exploration... self-analysis is a good start, for someone who has the desire to solve his conflicts. You have already realized that throughout our conversation, each section is a direct or indirect way to explore the Id, the Ego, the Super-Ego, the conscious, the unconscious (personal, collective and “instinctogen”). The goal of this important exploration is to understand their content; to understand their content in order to resolve possible psychological conflicts (neuroses). This analysis helps become a better person; it brings more success and happiness. Analise or self-analysis can harmonize Emotional-Health We have a secret to share with you: the exploration of our own subconscious has revealed many things and helped us to progress. But for those who pretend and play with themselves, those characters who look themselves in a mirror, leave and forget what kind of person they really are; for these people, we suggest not to try self-analyze (please don’t play the apprentice sorcerer). We suggest them to be analyzed by an authentic psychoanalyst: a strict analysis. But whoever is willing to start an analysis (or self-analysis) must know this: it is imperative to drop the defense mechanisms, to take of the masks, and become "naked", so that the psychoanalyst can explain what is going on in the deeps of the subconscious (unconscious) and helps optimize emotional-health. One way or another, all these methods are simply different approaches. But although different, they complement each other harmoniously. Whether you choose the school of Sigmund Freud (psychoanalysis), the school of CG Jung (analytical psychology), or the school of Baudouin (psychagogy), the most important thing is to adapt a method to the patient. But more importantly, the patient must ardently have the desire to be healed; and the analyst must be competent. That is to say: on the one hand, an analyst must be a being full of virtues (love and compassion must be his nature, the analyst must ardently have the desire to help his patient). On the other hand, the analyst has to be a master in his art and must have been analyzed... successfully. For if a blind leads another blind, both may fall into a pit. An analyst, who is trying to lead his patient to a destination unknown to himself, is not a good analyst. There is a real danger, both for the patient to the analyst. That is we just say: the analyst has to be a master in his art, and must have been analyzed... successfully. Anyone who wants to undertake an analysis must take the time to know what kind of analyst he is dealing with; in order not to waste his time... his money, his emotional-health and his health. 1) What is psychoanalysis? Psychoanalysis is a discipline founded by Sigmund Freud. Its aim is to explore the deep psychology of "normal" and sick people; in order to facilitate a better understanding of that deep part of the mind, and provide an eventual cure. Psychoanalysis explores the unconscious (personal and collective). As we have already said, the “instinctogen” unconscious is very difficult to explore. During a psychoanalytic cure, the psychoanalyst helps his patient to access the content of the subconscious; then the psychoanalyst analyzes it, in order to cure him. Popular imagery has established a link between psychoanalysis and mental illness, craziness, "abnormal". Many people avoid saying that they attend a psychologist or a psychoanalyst, because they may loose some friends. But the reality is that: a “normal” person can be analyzed to improve his personality and become a better creature. Well done, psychoanalysis is a powerful tool for emotional-health. You know this saying: "The fool is one who has lost everything except reason." Contrary to what popular imagery has established, to start a psychoanalytic analysis does not always mean that someone is mentally ill or crazy to bind. As we have already said, health is an elastic word; there are different levels of health. Someone can be in good mental health (which is good) but also in excellent mental health (which is better). A "normal" person, who starts an analysis, could well emerge "more normal". Psychoanalysis allows a better understanding of the inner self. 2) What is the conscious? It is the knowledge that someone has regarding his existence, his acts, and the outside world. There are different levels of consciousness. From the lowest level to the highest level, it is possible to distinguish: * The unconscious (personal, collective and “instinctogen”) * The subconscious (allows automatic acts of everyday life) * Dreaming (doest not request an effort of concentration) * The conscious (clear and thoughtful consciousness, requests effort of concentration) The words subconscious and unconscious are sometimes synonymous. But for some authors, the subconscious is an area of the psyche between the conscious and unconscious. As we will see, the conscious plays an important role in emotional-health. 3) What is the unconscious, (the subconscious)? The unconscious is central to mental life. It is a vast area impossible to describe completely. A vast area populated by impulses, instincts, desires, fantasies and emotions more or less complex (often contradictory). The unconscious is composed of three parts, more and more deep, and difficult to access. These three parts are: the personal unconscious, the collective unconscious and the instinctogen unconscious. The personal unconscious contains the personal history of an individual, all his experiences, his refoulements (repressed thoughts)) and his pathological complexes. The collective unconscious contains the emotional experience of all mankind; great symbols and archetypes are stocked there. The instinctogen unconscious is the reservoir of basic impulses and instincts. The personal unconscious, the collective unconscious and the instinctogen unconscious "communicate" together. In practice, psychoanalysis can not explore the instinctogen unconscious. We will show how the unconscious, (the subconscious) influence emotional-health. Three other main parts of the mind the Id, the Ego and the Super-Ego) guide the content of the unconscious (the subconscious). * The Id is represented by the instinctive impulses (archaic or primitive desires which tend to be satisfied brutally, for example: the sexual instinct). The Id is repressed by the Super-Ego. * The Super-Ego is composed of what is permitted or banned; that Super-Ego is composed of cultural and educational values. The Id and the Super-Ego are unconscious. * The Ego is both conscious and unconscious; the function of that Ego is to control and synthesize the personality. The Ego balances the Id and the Super-Ego. The Ego allows the Id and the Super-Ego to find psychological compromises. When the vigilance of the Ego decreases, the unconscious reveals its contents; this takes place during dreams, lapsus, missed acts, omissions... For your information: Lapsus linguae (involuntary mistake, when someone speaks); Lapsus calami (involuntary mistake, when someone writes). You will discover how the Id, the Ego and the Super-Ego influence emotional-health. During a psychoanalytic cure, the psychoanalyst helps his patient to access the content of his unconscious (subconscious), in order to analyze that content and cure him. The psychoanalytic cure is based on the principle of the free association of ideas. The patient must tell everything that comes to his mind; then the psychoanalyst will be able to analyze his resistances and unconscious defenses. The psychoanalyst will also analyze the repressed childhood conflicts of that patient, because these refouled conflicts will resurface during the phenomenon of transfer and projection. 4) What is repression (psychological refoulement?) It is a psychological mechanism by which unconscious thoughts, mental images, feelings, ideas or memories associated with a deep desire and instinct are kept out of consciousness. These images and memories are kept out of consciousness, because they seen as prohibited or painful by the conscious. But although repressed in the unconscious, these images, feelings, thoughts or memories retain their strength and seek to return ceaselessly "to the surface." That is to say, to return to the conscious; the moral conscious. But the Super-Ego (composed of what is permitted or banned; composed of cultural and educational values) prevents that return. Guilt and anxiety related to this mechanism creates a conflict. Because of that psychological conflict, the Ego (the psychic personality of a being) engages a battle and spends energy; this situation can lead to bad emotional-health: great physical and mental fatigue, depression, psychosomatic illness, and so on. In other words, repression (refoulement) is an unconscious mechanism that prevents an impulse to reach consciousness; repression is the unconscious exclusion of painful impulses, desires or fears from the conscious mind. The Super-Ego can be seen as a police that push back instinctive impulses in the unconscious, and prevents them from reaching consciousness. This police consist of taboos, moral values, permitted and prohibited values. The conscious always ignore that a symptom (anxiety, for example) follows a repression (refoulement). The Super-Ego (the police) repress a psychological pulse, because that impulse threatens to destabilize the personality. Therefore, a refoulement is made in order to maintain the "balance" of a personality. The unconscious continuously products instinctive impulses. But if these instinctive impulses do not agree with the Super-Ego, a refoulement will follow; these impulses are returned to the unconscious by the Super-Ego. A refoulement (repression) is full of unconscious emotions and energy. Therefore the Super-Ego spends considerable energy, to continually repress instinctive impulses that consciousness wants to avoid. This large expenditure of energy weakens the personality and emotional-health. Inhibition, anguish, anxiety, fatigue and depression are some symptoms of these refoulements that can last a lifetime; and ruin a whole life. Repressions (psychological refoulements) are permanent and constantly fed by new experiences; this situation creates complexes (see below paragraph on the complex; let’s say that psychological conflicts come together to form a complex). Refoulement and complex form a separate entity, working on their own account, in the depths of the personality. Refoulements and complexes stagnate in the unconscious, out of reach of intelligence and willpower; this situation impair emotional-health. It is possible to repress a part of a personality. The personality is composed of four functions. Thus, one can repress: a thought, a sensation, an intuition or a sentiment. These four functions form the structure of living beings. When these four parts function in harmony, the person is balanced. To repress some or all of the personality is a serious obstacle to success and happiness. A man, who represses his sensation, also represses the female side of his personality (the Anima). Consequently this man becomes emotionally dry and cold; his emotional-health is impaired. For such a man, it could be difficult to love or/and be loved. A man, who represses the male side of his personality (the Animus), could become soft and passive; could shrink himself and avoid fighting. Such a man might not penetrate the society, in order to affirm himself and be victorious. In the same way, a woman who has repressed the male side of her personality could become too passive and submitted. Also, a woman who has repressed the female side of her personality could become too emotionally dry, harsh and inflexible; while educating her children, such a woman could castrate (psychological castration) and devour their Ego; that is to say: she could emasculate these children (in a social and sexual meaning). For some people, as we shall see, many refoulement have been held since early childhood; most of the time, following an erroneous education. These refoulement persist in adulthood and prevent them of achieving some of their goals, it prevents them of succeeding and be happy; their emotional-health is disharmonized. With the help of analytical treatment, the psychoanalyst will unify and balance these four functions within the personality. When a particular function is released, the personality of the patient flourishes; his/her being is unified and enriched. The concept of repression (psychological refoulement), is essential in understanding neuroses and the psychotherapeutic approach. One of the objectives of an analysis, is to help a patient become aware of this internal conflict (the conflict between the subconscious and the Super-Ego); to help him become aware of his emotional problems and their roles in diseases. When resolved, this internal conflict gives way to renewed mental and physical energy, greater harmony and a better balance of the personality, a better emotional-health. In short, it gives way to a cure that leads to success and happiness. 5) What is a neurosis? A neurosis is a frequent neuro-psychological disorder, which does not involve any detectable injury in the nervous system. Neuroses result in psychological symptoms. With time, a neurosis may result in physical disorders (functional type) such as: pain (bones, muscles, joints, etc.), fatigue, discomfort, and so on. But there is no injury in these painful or tired organs. Neuroses do not change personality as psychoses do. Neurotics are aware of their disease. Neuroses are generated by psychological conflicts (mostly unconscious). A neurotic is almost never antisocial, unlike someone who is suffering of unbalanced temper. Neuroses, psychoses, depression, frigidity, sexual impotence of psychological origin, and many other diseases of the psyche impair emotional-health; they can be treated by analysis. A neurosis is a disease. A neurosis is an attempt (missed) to adjust to the reality. In fact, when a neurosis starts, it is a need and a necessity for someone (to adjust to the reality). A neurosis is a psychological means of protection; a defense. For example, someone may suffer of morbid shyness; an oppressive shyness he believes is natural and normal. But during a psychoanalytic treatment, he discovers that his morbid shyness is a way to protect himself; a way to protect him against this: the need to affirm himself that unconsciously anguish him. So, this person discovers that he had developed and maintained a neurotic shyness so as not to compete. He also discovers that: unconsciously he was frightened by the idea of competing and affirming himself, and this was a source of anguish for him. His neurotic behavior (morbid shyness), was used as a protection against the circumstances which he deemed dangerous. All this psychological mechanism took place without his knowledge, in the depths of his subconscious (unconscious). His behavior (shyness) was just a visible symptom. Once that person understands the deep cause (s) of his oppressive shyness, his eyes open, he becomes aware, and his morbid shyness is cured; his personality is harmonized; his body, soul, mind and emotions are energized; the neurosis is resolved; his emotional-health is harmonized, that person restarts to tease the inner peace: to tease success and happiness. Obsessional neurosis combines multiple obsessions such as: manias, rituals and the impulses, to an obsessive personality. Obsessional neurosis impair emotional-health. Phobic neurosis combines phobias (fears of people, objects, places, situations), to a phobic hyper-emotive personality. Phobic neurosis disharmonize emotional-health. Hysterical neurosis combines somatic manifestations, called conversion, to a hysterical personality. Hysterical neurosis is not good for emotional-health. In sum, according to Carl. G. Jung: "A neurosis is a dissociation of personality due to the existence of a complex". 6) What is a complex? According to Gerhard Adler: "A complex is a constellation of psychological conflicts, charged with emotional energy." A complex is an unconscious personality, separated, opposed to the conscious personality. Since the complex is full of energy, that energy is blocked and trapped. If that energy is blocked, trapped, the conscious and willpower do not benefit. In addition, the conscious and willpower are fighting against this invisible enemy (the complex). Therefore, emotional-health is impaired: inhibition, less willpower, decrease of concentration, lack of adaptation to everyday life, fatigue, anguish, anxiety, tension, fear, mental and emotional overwork, diseases, etc. That is why the cure of a complex is important in analysis. Let’s say it again: repressions (psychological refoulements) and conflicts are permanent and constantly fed by new experiences; this situation creates complexes. Psychological conflicts come together to form a complex. Refoulements and complexes form a separate entity, working on their own account, in the depths of the personality. Refoulements and complexes stagnate in the unconscious, out of reach of intelligence and willpower. According to psychoanalytic theory, the Oedipus complex (the Electra complex, for female) is the most important of all complexes. Soon, we will talk about the Oedipus complex and the Electra complex. 7) What is a psychosomatic illness? When a trouble generated by a psychological disorder occurs in the body, the name given to that trouble is a psychosomatic illness. A psychosomatic illness is the result of psychological conflicts on the body. A bad emotional-health may lead to a psychosomatic illness. An affective or emotional problem, is generally the cause of psychosomatic neuroses or organ neuroses. Through the autonomic nervous system and endocrine glands, uncontrolled emotions may lead to serious emotional-health, changes in metabolism and functioning of organs. Thus, it become possible to have: an asthma attack, diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, cardiac arrhythmia, acne, paralysis, sexual disorders (impotence, precocious ejaculation, frigidity, etc.), hypertension, diabetes, obesity, cachexia, allergies, nutritional and endocrine disorders, angina pectoris, headache, vomiting, urinary disorders, arthritis, arthrosis, and so on. 8) What is psychotherapy?
Dream analysis of my diary
"To be or not to be conscious? Leave this matter to the unconscious."
The person who becomes conscious of his refoulements, sees his / her inhibitions disappearing. False defenses and false securities fall. False psychological armor melts. His/her non-existent enemies disappear. His / her internal conflicts fade. Ghosts vanish. Old demons come out. Psychological masks fall. The person ceases to play roles. He / she removes his/she disguises. He/she becomes more authentic. The Ego grows. The Super-Ego (moral requirements, what is allowed and forbidden; cultural and educational values) becomes more flexible and adapts better. His / her physical, mental and spiritual energy increase. His / her creativity, memory and other faculties are deployed. His / her emotional-health is optimized.
That person has ardently desired this analysis. He / she fought with determination and sincerity; discovered his/her unconscious secrets. After many resistances and refoulements, that person "saw", "heard" and understood these unconscious secrets. With the help of a psychoanalyst, psychoanalytic treatment has balanced his / her personality and improved emotional-health. Now, thoughts, sensations, intuitions and feelings are harmonized. This re-structuration of his/her personality has created a new personality; a free and more mature person. Free from loneliness (self-loneliness and loneliness with others), this new being connects again with himself and others. His/her apparent temper is replaced by his/her real temper. This being becomes more authentic; more authentic to others and to himself. Success and happiness are within reach of such a new creature. Free at last, it is the beginning of a new life... Obviously, here as elsewhere, it is wise to ponder. Psychoanalysis is not a panacea. This approach, although effective, do not have all answers. Psychoanalysis is in its infancy, like all other sciences. But a good psychoanalysis, done by a true psychoanalyst, allows psychological awareness. Such awareness may be linked to parents, brothers, sisters, friends, relationships, ideas, cultures, educations, beliefs, experiences, events from childhood or adulthood, and so on. We know that whoever seeks to become better and to succeed, will meet "by chance" people and circumstances to help in that direction. A popular wisdom says: "Those who are alike meet." We add this: "Great minds meet." Anyone who is looking for success and happiness, will meet success and happiness. But anyone who is looking for failure and misfortune, will meet failure, misfortune and bad emotional-health. Excellence attracts excellence. Mediocrity attracts mediocrity. Here as elsewhere: “we reap what we sow.” And now, read your Diary again and analyze it, in the light of this important section: The conquest of the unconscious (subconscious). See above. In your documentation: My Potential, note your new potentials; potentials you have discovered; potentials you have begun to develop in order to multiply your success and happiness. Likewise, in your other documents: My Life Story, My Diary, note the positive results and success you have achieved so far; if you've read, studied and practiced the methods we've proposed in this site. In your Diary, continue meticulously to note all your: dreams, achievements, victories, successes, progresses, thoughts, experiences, and so on. Specify their dates, places and circumstances. Write also your “failures”. For, as already mentioned, soon we will learn to transform "failures" into successes. Two words about the disease and healing A disease is the deterioration of health. A disease has a defined set of criteria. These criteria are: a cause, signs, symptoms, evolution, treatment modalities, and accurate prognosis. Disease is different from syndrome and affection. The science of disease is pathology. Pathology considers the cause and circumstances of an outbreak of a disease (etiology). Pathology also considers the mechanism and evolution of a disease (pathogeny). Pathology considers the signs by which a disease manifests itself (semiology). The diagnosis of a disease is established by identifying the nature of that disease, and differentiating that disease from others. A prognosis is established by drawing predictions of syndromes and evolution of a disease. The description and classification of the causes of diseases is called nosography. The fight against the causes of diseases is called prophylaxy. A disease can be: • Physical: cancer, ulcers, AIDS, etc. • Psychological: nervous depression, neurosis, psychosis, etc. • Psychosomatic: sexual impotence, frigidity, ulcer, etc. • Or of unknown cause: disabling multiple sclerosis, Bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE, commonly known as Mad-Cow disease), Human spongiform encephalopathy (Creutzfeldt-Jacob disease is the most common), fibromyalgia, Parkinson disease, alzheimer, arthritis, etc.). Some authors describe mystical diseases (diseases caused by magic, witchcraft, spells, charms, etc.). Further down, read carefully this important section: Warning. But we know that a disease may have different causes, and the causes of a disease may be combined. For example, a physical illness (ulcers) may come from a psychological illness (neurosis); in this case that ulcer is a psychosomatic illness. The vice versa is also possible. One way or another it cause bad emotional-health. Some diseases are notifiable. These are diseases such as AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). Some countries, like Canada, offer health insurance. That is to say: the government bears the costs associated with some cares. A disease may be of long duration (AIDS, cancer, etc.). Or short duration (influenza, colds, etc.). Work-related diseases are recognized as directly related to workplace, and treated as accidents by legislation. For example: infectious disease contracted in hospital; also agricultural diseases (work-related rabies). Here is the definition of health, as given in the section: Health. Health is the state of living in which all organs are functioning well. One may talk about the health of the body, soul, mind, emotions and spirituality. Health is also the condition of the body. How someone is doing. Thus it is possible to be in good or bad health; to have a robust or delicate health. So this definition takes into account: emotional-health. And according to the WHO (World Health Organization), a UN (United Nations) agency: "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being; and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." As we can see, health is the state of all organs free of diseases. But there are many levels of health, as we have seen and learned to climb. We will see other practical ways to be healthy and learn to put them into practice, in these following sections: Sexuality ♥ Money Human relations Economy, politics, religion (spirituality) Being healthy means: to be at peace with our body, soul, mind, emotions and spirituality. Physical and mental health is one of our main interests. It will interest us again; because victory in other areas of life requires good physical and mental health. In practice, you've learned to create the best conditions, in order to reduce the risk of diseases. That's hygiene. After these definitions of health and disease, let’s understand what healing is. Our approach to healing will be a multidisciplinary approach. Because we believe that every civilization, people, nation, race, has an effective therapeutic approach for specific diseases. The approaches of these civilizations, peoples, nations and races are complementary in many respects. Many of these medical approaches help avoid the possible harmful side effects of some chemical treatments. Multidisciplinary approach is the best for emotional-health. The misplaced pride of certain cultures, as mean political and economic interests, postpones the collaboration and put of indefinitely. In this ignorance is the patient who suffers the most (the cost). Yet some of these “ignored” therapeutic approaches have proved their worth, even on an international level. These “ignored” therapeutic approaches have established their credibility. Our approach to healing is also close to holistic health (overall health, global health), holistic care (overall care) and holistic medicine (global medicine). That is to say that we care about the whole human being as a whole: body, soul, mind (mental, intelligence), emotions, spirituality, etc. All these points in relation to: sexuality, financial situation and human relations (interpersonal relations). In doing so, we want to respect the integrity and dignity of human beings. We will provide you with some approaches we have collected. But we repeat this: "Caution. Let’s use discernment." For in the field of health also, there are many merchants of illusions; they have a flourishing business situated in a good position. Those spongers play a dangerous game in the medical field, where incompetence has no place. By ignorance or malice, health robbers are many. However in the therapeutic field, sorcerer's apprentices and criminality have no place. Here is a list of disciplines. They are alternative medicines. These disciplines are listed in alphabetical order, and not in order of effectiveness. * Acupuncture, is part of traditional Chinese medicine. Acupuncture could: • Help quit smoking • Increase sexual desire (sex drive) • Help overcome impotence and frigidity • Cure stomach ulcer • Help overcome muscle pain • Cure nerve pain (sciatica...) • Heal paraplegia • Heal facial paralysis • Cure myopia and optic nerve atrophy • Help lose weight • Balance heart beat rate • Balance blood pressure (hypertension, hypotension) • Heal goiter and hyperthyroidism • Stop enuresis • Cure asthma • Treat insomnia • Cure epilepsy • Overcome some mental illnesses • Overcome depression, anguish, anxiety, hysteria, etc. • And so on. Read the section: Acupuncture and memory; see Health of the mind (mental, intellectual)
* Acupressure is a variant of acupuncture. It does not use needles, but pressures on very specific points of the body. It is possible to cure many diseases with acupressure. Acupuncture is good for emotional-health. We recommend reading the following: Complete system of self-healing. Dr. Stephen T. Chang. * African medicine * Allopathic medicine Allopathy is the Western medicine promoted by Galen. Allopathy approach is based on the law of opposites. * Amerindian medicine (Ojibwa) * Art therapy * Chinese medicine * Chiropractic or chiropraxy is the method of treatment of certain painful spinal disorders; with the use of hands, by manipulations and sudden movements on the vertebrae. * Climatotherapy is the treatment of disease, with the help of climate. Medical climatology (climate action on the body) is the foundation of climatotherapy. A climatic school is a school located in an environment where climate is beneficial to students’ health. * Dance therapy isgood for emotional-health * Ergotherapy is the mode of treatment and rehabilitation through manual labor. Occupational therapy is suitable for physically disabled and/or mentally ill people. These patients resume contact with reality and society through teamwork. * Frigotherapy is the treatment based on the use of cold. * Homeopathy. From the Greek homoios (similar) and pathos (affection); was developed by Samuel Hahnemann. This approach is based on the law of similarities: any substance that causes symptoms on a healthy person, is able to cure those symptoms and disease resulting from it. Homeopathy is good for emotional-health. Read the section: Allopathic and homeopathic medicine. * Hydrotherapy. This approach of treatment uses water. It includes local or general baths, showers (stream, filiform, rain); local applications (bath, sprays). Practiced with spring water, it is called crenotherapy. With sea water this treatment is called thalassotherapy. Massages and rehabilitations are often associated with hydrotherapy. Read also thermalism below. * Hypnosis is the particular state of sleep, during which the subject is able to carry out suggestions. Some subjects are receptive to hypnosis (around 30%). Hypnosis can treat certain neuroses, and can be used as an anesthetic in surgery. * Indian medicine. See Miracle-Provision, click on the Browse button on the left of your screen. * Massotherapy is therapy through massages. This is one of the best-known therapies, and maybe the most practiced too... * Musicotherapy (music therapy) is good for emotional-health ♪ ♫ www.MusicTherapy.ca www.Convergences.ch Medicina Musica Browne, Richard (1729). * Phytotherapy, is therapy with the use of plants. It has the benefit to not induce side effects. It is the wise foresight of nature. * Psychosomatic relaxation, can overcome many mental and physical illnesses. Psychosomatic relaxation is good for emotional-health. Read this lovely book: Psychosomatic relaxation. Marcel Rouet. Besides being a technique that eliminates fatigue, boosts your energy, facilitates childbirth, balances the tension (hypertension, hypotension); psychosomatic relaxation can help heal: -Nervous disorders (depression, anguish, anxiety, stress, shyness, insomnia, pain...) -Nutrition disorders (constipation, stomach ulcers, asthma, etc.) -Sexual disorders (frigidity, impotence, brief act (premature ejaculation), sexual obsessions...) -Brain disorders (low concentration, poor memory, etc.). -Intoxication (alcohol, tobacco, drugs...) * Self-suggestion, when properly understood, can help overcome many diseases. Especially psychological illness, and hence physical illnesses. We have already demonstrated the links between the mind and body. In fact some diseases are psychosomatic diseases. Please read the section: The conquest of the unconscious (subconscious). See above. * Sexotherapy is sex therapy. We are certain that a well flourished sexuality can heal many illnesses; physical and psychological illnesses. That is why we have developed the section: Sexuality ♥. Read also this book: The Tao of Sexology. Dr. S.T. Chang. Taoism and sexuality is a efficient tandem. In the same vein, read the Kama Sutra. Tantrism talks about the development of sexuality. Visit this site about Tantra: www.Tantra-Sex.com is good for emotional-health
* Spiritualotherapy. We invented this term, in order to ease our explanations. We are certain that some spiritual values, well understood and well implemented, can bring healing. That is why we have added the section: Economy, politics, religion (spirituality). * Thermalism. All medical, hospital and administrative tools implemented for the therapeutic use of spring water. This therapy itself. Read also hydrotherapy, above. * Transcendental meditation Read our section: Increase your strengths through science of meditation Vinotherapy is good for emotional-health :) * Yoga. Let’s repeat it: Some yoga postures can increase your energy level, boost your memory, stimulate your glands and organs, relax you, open your appetite, ease your digestion, increase your sexual desire (sex drive) and your sexual power, help you overcome frigidity, and so on. Always practice yoga under the supervision of an expert. We do not advice you to practice yoga through books. For these postures, although very helpful and efficient, could harm you if they are poorly executed. Properly understood, in the presence of a qualified teacher, yoga can be a strong tool for personal development. Physical yoga can help maintain and develop the health of the body, soul, mind and emotions. Yoga can improve your quality of life, and thus the quality of life of your entourage. We have tested the effect of yoga postures on the body and mind. Their effects are respectable. Again, the study of physical yoga should be undertaken with the help of a qualified teacher. But there are several forms of yoga: physical yoga, mystical yoga, etc. Be careful before undertaking the study and practice of mystic yoga. The study of this form of yoga should also be undertaken in the presence of a qualified teacher. * Etc. You can add to these medical approaches by doing your own research: A curiosity we have discovered at the last minute: Laughter yoga. Someone said: "We do not laugh because we are happy. We are happy because we laugh." But vice versa is also true. And we add: "We laugh because we are happy. We are happy because we laugh. "And this completes that. To laugh from the heart can help overcome depression, strengthen the immune system, beautify the face, and so on. We already knew that laugh is a powerful therapeutic tool. But from there to create laughter clubs... it takes some doing. :)
Laughing is good is good for emotional-health So if it is funny for you to make fun of life, with a laugh, visit these sites: www.LaughterYoga.org www.YogaDuRire.com Warning
In our study regarding alternative medicines, we deliberately excluded other approaches such as: magic, witchcraft, sorcery, occultism, etc. At the Institute of Human Cultivation (IHC), in this site, we do not promote: magic, witchcraft, sorcery, occultism or anything else related. But we are not naive. By experience, we know that these things exist. And if you want a good advice, an advice from a friend: stay clear from magic, witchcraft sorcery, occultism or anything else related. Stand clear. These dangers are very bad for emotional-health. These things exist, and are very dangerous. From experience we know that some diseases are caused by charms, spells, etc. In this regard, explore these two websites. We have discovered a spellbinding universe: 1) www.Ciel-Et-Enfer.Skyrock.com The 61 pages of this site, which includes many stories, start with the testimony of BAKAJIKA Muana Nkuba. This testimony is entitled: Rescapé de l’enfer (Survivors of hell). You may translate a text, a page or an entire web page with: http://translate.google.com/translate_t# 2) www.MountainOfFire.org
And click on these links: Fire in The Word; or Publications.
Some publications are in French, but you may translate a text, a page or an entire web page with the Google-link given above: Physical and/or psychological diseases caused by a spell, are much like ordinary illnesses. But these kinds of diseases need other forms of treatment. Conventional medicine and treatment can not do anything. Right now, many people are victims of a spell but do not know. This is not a joke. We do not joke with these things. It's too serious. A spell can affect physical health and/or psychological health. A spell can prevent a healthy person from achieving many things in his life (school, job, relationship, marriage, success, happiness, etc.)
Difficulties and problems do exist. But when life becomes unbearable, it is wise to seek the cause in other approaches. If you are certain to having been the target of magic, witchcraft, sorcery or occultism; do not seek a solution among wizards, “marabouts”, sorcerers, occultists, and others. You are losing your time and money; because their solutions are neither sustainable nor good for your soul. We have tested and verified many of these things. Do not get trapped. Stay clear. By mentioning “marabouts”, we are not talking about Muslims, but about other type of marabouts; those who advertise in the journal; promising to give you luck, happiness, love, money, etc. They also promise to remove a spell. This is our advice based on experience: Stay away from them; because sooner or later, you will find yourself overloaded with very serious problems. Do not get trapped. Stay clear. For more detail, read our section: Economy, politics, religion (spirituality). See the web page: Human relations For an effective, sustainable and definitive solution, turn to your Creator. We won’t talk long here. If you want more information, contact us. We can help you. If you suspect that you or someone you know is suffering from a physical or psychological illness due to a spell, contact us. We can help you. Up to now we have learned to feed our body, soul, mind (mental, intelligence) and emotions. But why stop there? Why not accumulate other victories? Let’s see big. Think big! We will acquire other tools of Human Cultivation in the following sections: Sexuality, Money, Human relations, etc. Those tools are equally useful and practical than previous ones.
