When the word economy is mentioned, a familiar image comes immediately to mind: that of money. This reflex is educational, cultural and normal. Let’s rather say logical; because it is difficult to talk about current economy without talking about money. And vice versa. During our conversation, we will sometimes use this definition of economy: the wealth and resources of a community. In fact, an economy overview shows that wealth and resources of a community affects all areas of society; or almost. Politics and religion are not isolated, same for politics and wealth. These three domains are interrelated. For instance, politics and economy have “merged” to create a new term: political economy (an interdisciplinary studies drawing upon economics, law, and political science in explaining how political institutions, the political environment and the economic system work together.) Consider these definitions for example: Political economy is the science of studying production and distribution of wealth, buying and selling, and their relations with law, custom, and government. Economic policy refers to the actions that governments take in the economic field. Social economy is the study of industrial and social relations." You see how politic, religion and economy are interrelated; and influence each other. That is why when there is an economic crisis many other domains are affected. Economy and politics are linked. The wealth and resources of a community may be linked to religion. Health and wealth are also linked; an economic crisis may lead to health problems. It is obvious that without money, many religious works, and perhaps even religious vocations would end. Everything is linked… In this outlook, there are different types of economy. But the above definition is almost correct for most of them. Macro and Micro eco differs. Planned and open economy are different. Cuban and United States economy are not the same... Comparing world economies may help you make a better choice; we will see how later on. Over 400 million people across the globe still practice traditional economy, as researched by the World Bank. Here is its definition: it is the wealth and resources of a community based on custom and tradition. For your information: The national economy is the material activity of a country, as a result of the implementation of its resources. Directed wealth and resources is subject to the leadership and control of the state. Open wealth and resources of a community is more or less opened to international trade (IT). Closed "wealth and resources of a community" is more or less closed to IT. Largest economies like Chinese and US play a predominant role in world economies. The competition is so tough that the term war economy became a common term. But that war impair the wealth ans resources growth... We are living a world of global economy. Here is its definition: "It is an international economic activity which includes the world-wide integration of markets for goods, services, labor, and capital." This worldwide wealth and resources has positive and negative effects on every aspect of our society. The homo-economicus is at work in almost all domains of life. The homo-economicus is an alert and industrious specie. This species cherries suggestions we have made in our web page: Money And this species is right. :) Because he / she understands that money is an important component of success and happiness. Since money can contribute to good health, flourishing sexuality, and harmonious relationships. Enjoy this page? Please pay it forward. Here's how... Share this page with others by linking to it.

Economy: study and understand
It is possible to understand the state of the economy. Taking time to understand the "main" economic systems, can be time saving. And time is money. Studying and understanding how the country's economic system in which you live works, can help you improve your financial situation; can contribute to your success and happiness. Of course, living in an economic system or studying it does not necessarily mean that we agree with that system. But understanding that system can also help us understand why we agree or not. And so, possibly help us make changes. Why continually criticize an economical, political or religious system without taking time to study it, understand it, in order to change it? This is not a sign of practical wisdom. Let’s not do as these "minor critics" who criticize just because they feel like criticizing. They criticize even when there is nothing to criticize. Those criticasters don’t see economy, politics or religion as it is, but they see them through their own point of view; these "little critics" see wealth, politics or religion through themselves. Result? Their criticism is biased; because it is oriented. We believe that any economical and political system has something "good" and "bad". Here "good" and "bad" is in quotation marks; because what is "good" here might no longer be "good" somewhere else. And what is "bad" here, today, might no longer be “bad” here, tomorrow. Each people, nation or civilization must seek and find the system that suits him; in agreement with its nature, culture, and degree of maturity. What means bad or good economy? Again, the notion of good and bad is relative. We know that underground economy (illegal eco.) is probably much closer to the term bad economy; but... The current state of US wealth (2009) is not what it was before. The economy of Canada has also declined; Canadian wealth and resources is not what it was before. Of course we are far from Cameroon wealth and resources (colonial eco), or Haiti wealth and resources (slow eco). But this is a living proof that social crisis and war are linked to the wealth and resources of a community. "Do not spend all your money. Economize." An economic or political system may change in space and time. Wise chief are always look around to find what they can take... learn from other economic and political systems, in order to improve theirs. In this sense, these leaders are not stubborn and obsessed. They are good headman or good headmistress. We invite you to study these "main" economic systems: the communist economic system, the socialist economic system, the social democracy economic system, the capitalist economic system; but also study the following political systems: the extreme left, the left-wing, the center, the right-wing, the extreme right, and so on. These exercises are important. Because they can greatly help you make good decisions. A good decision is a decision that is good for you and your fellow creatures. Sometime, I heard people having "great reflexions" on economic systems. But when asked to develop their point of view, and compare it to other thoughts, they give some conclusion like: "All these economic systems are the same. Same beasts same hair." Or: "Capitalism, social democracy, socialism, communism, fascism are all the same. The more things change, the more they stay the same." No. All economic systems are not the same. The capitalist, social democratic, socialist, communist, fascism economic system, etc., are not similar; nor identical. Here also the keyword is communication: Download your free ebook: Learn how to write and communicate efficiently So how to study an economic system? Here we go. * Firstly. Choose an economic system. Preferably, choose the economic system of the country where you live. The economic system of the country where you live is particularly important, because in this case, it directly affects you in some way or another. Decisions made through this system, may speed up or slow down your race to success and happiness. That economic system is your subject of study. * Secondly. Find information on that economic system. Find the line of the political party that has established its vision, economic platform, promises, etc.; find its achievements, successes, failures, etc. Search engines are a good start. Internet is full of information, no doubt. Other sources of information can be libraries, bookstores, conversations, etc. While studying that economic system of your choice, read also positive and negative criticisms about it; because this is not betraying an economic secret, or betraying a state secret, if we repeat this: "Appearances can be deceiving." We advise you to compare that economic system to other economic systems in the world. * Thirdly. For a good understanding of the economic system of your choice, its politics, vision, promises, achievements, successes, failures, etc., we invite you to make further explorations. We invite you to study the psychology, behavior, intentions, actions, etc., of people who designed that economic system. Study them in the light of positive and negative criticisms. To do this, apply all principles that we've suggested in the section: Knowing your entourage; see the web page: Professional relationships (work, business, undertakings) And also: Friendships (how to make, develop and keep friendships) The same useful exercise can... and will be done for a political or religious system, as we will see. Discover those topics. Explore the link above: Economy, politics, religion (spirituality). By studying carefully the economic system of your choice, following these three tested steps, you will reach a conclusion; a temporary conclusion. Having sought to understand, the researcher will avoid criticizing just for the pleasure of criticizing (as “minor critics” do). The researcher will have a critical mind, not a spirit of negative criticism. That economic system will appear in a new light, in broad daylight. Your wisdom and intelligence will join your conscience and pay tribute to you. Your wisdom, intelligence and conscience will also indicate you the best way, the path to true success and happiness. You will know many things. Well equipped, you will get out of a difficult situation. Whatever your conclusion regarding that economic study, you will take your place in the sun. And if you wish to change things, you will come out of the shadow; you will take action and engage the fight. You will then accept, reject or modify an economic system wisely and profitably. And who knows, with a book, website, film, drama, a new political party, and so on, you will build a new economic system that will make the joy of humanity; an economic system that will honor the human race and creation. In fact a wise economic system, is an economic system that will develop, in practice, all virtues and skills we have suggested at our page: Health, in the section: Health of the soul including the section: The development of mental faculties; see: Health of the mind (mental, intellectual) and the web page: Professional relationships (work, business, undertakings) We know that an economic system that will function, in practice, according to all laws and principles that the Institute of Human Cultivation suggests in this web site, will delight our civilization. To come out of the Shadow? Yes. But we know that great things are sometime better done in the shadow. That is why there is a clear difference between staying in the shadow and working in the shadow. The coward stays in the shadow, hides and waits all things to be done by themselves. The brave engages the fight and changes things. Green economy is a smart one: Green Peace www.GreenPeace.ca Amnesty And? Wikileaks Of course... of course... :) Regards,
